In a significant shift, XRP-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs) witnessed an influx of over $8 million in new investments during the last trading session, according to data from SosoValue. This renewed interest was driven entirely by two major asset managers, Bitwise and Franklin Templeton, marking a notable change in the cautious sentiment exhibited by institutional investors towards XRP investment products in recent days.

Renewed Institutional Buying from Bitwise and Franklin Templeton

Bitwise was responsible for the acquisition of approximately 2.23 million XRP, which translates to a monetary value of $2.86 million. Franklin Templeton, however, made an even more substantial purchase on the same day, acquiring 4.34 million XRP. Valued at approximately $5.57 million, this transaction positioned Franklin Templeton as the largest contributor to XRP ETFs for the day.

Bitwise and Franklin Templeton were the sole sources of over $8 million in new funds entering XRP ETFs in the last trading session.

For both firms, this move marked the end of a lull lasting several days. Specifically, Bitwise had seen no activity or funds exiting its ETF for nearly five days before the notable capital injection on October 29. Similarly, Franklin Templeton reported no entries in its ETF for the preceding five trading days.

Cumulative Net Inflows Strengthen XRP ETFs

Following these acquisitions, the cumulative net inflow into XRP ETFs rose to $1.81 billion, with the total net asset value reaching $1.47 billion. This trend indicates that the recent inflow is part of a broader pattern of capital accumulation rather than a singular influence.

Monitoring the timing of such institutional flows is pivotal to gauging interest in XRP products. For those seeking detailed analytics, CryptoAppsy provides tailored news flows and real-time price charts, uniting XRP ETF movements with spot market changes on a single platform.

Renewed Attention Signals a Revival of Interest

While the data does not suggest the complete removal of caution among institutional circles, it indicates a rekindling of interest within the XRP ETF ecosystem. The contributions from only two significant asset management firms demonstrate that the purchases were selective yet decidedly positive.

Following a period of market quietude, these acquisitions reveal that XRP investment products are once again drawing attention, even if only on a short-term basis. Franklin Templeton, in particular, stood out as the institution that delivered the most substantial daily input in the latest trading session.
