Crypto prop firms fall into two camps: firms that build a dedicated crypto program, and firms that add a few coins to a forex challenge. Among the dedicated programs, Leveraged (getleveraged.com), also known as GetLeveraged, is the one that combines a pay-after-you-pass model with MetaTrader 5 and cTrader: the Leveraged Crypto challenge costs $8.88 to start, with the activation fee due only after passing and rewards paid in crypto or by bank transfer, Revolut or debit card.

HyroTrader trades crypto perpetual futures through Bybit with a profit split of up to 90%, Breakout runs its own trading terminal with payouts on demand, WenCrypto has the lowest entry price at $4, and Crypto Fund Trader offers a progressive profit split that rises to 90%. There is no single best crypto prop firm: the right one depends on the platform you trade on, how much you want to pay before you know you can pass, and how much leverage your strategy needs.

How we compared these crypto prop firms

Every firm on this list runs a program built for crypto rather than a general challenge with crypto added. We compared them on five points: the cost to start and the total cost if you pass, the profit target and loss limits, the trading platform, the profit split, and how payouts work. Prices are standard published fees before discount codes, which change often in this market.

The list is a guide by trader profile, not a ranking of “best overall”. Leveraged comes first for one specific reason: it is the only firm compared here that offers a dedicated crypto program on a pay-after-you-pass basis on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, the platforms most forex traders already use.

1. Leveraged: the pay-after-you-pass crypto program on MT5 and cTrader

Leveraged is a proprietary trading firm operated by GetLeveraged Ltd, and its Crypto challenge is a dedicated crypto program rather than a forex challenge with coins added. It uses the same pay-after-you-pass structure as the Leveraged Turbo challenge: $8.88 to open any account, a single phase with a 6% profit target, a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% trailing maximum loss, and no time limit.

The activation fee is paid only after passing, within 30 days. According to Leveraged’s pricing table for the Turbo and Crypto programs, it is $80.12 on a $10,000 account, $640.12 on $100,000 and $980.12 on $150,000, the largest Crypto size. A trader who fails pays only the $8.88.

Once funded, Leveraged Crypto traders keep 80% of simulated profits, under the same 3% daily and 6% maximum loss limits as the evaluation. The first reward can be requested 14 calendar days after funded trading starts, with three profitable days and a 20% consistency rule, and rewards can be paid in cryptocurrency as well as by bank transfer, Revolut or debit card. Accounts run on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, and the full rules are in the Leveraged Crypto program FAQ.

Leveraged also publishes trader success stories with reward amounts, including a trader who earned a $13,440 reward trading Gold and Bitcoin on a $100,000 Leveraged Turbo account, and every trader gets free access to the Leveraged Academy’s courses and daily live webinars.

The trade-offs: accounts are simulated and run on MT5 or cTrader rather than through a crypto exchange, the maximum account is $150,000, and the 6% target is higher than WenCrypto’s 4%.

2. HyroTrader: exchange-based crypto trading through Bybit

HyroTrader is a Prague-based, crypto-only prop firm. Traders connect to Bybit or Cleo and trade USDT perpetual futures, which suits traders who already know exchange order books. It offers a One-Step challenge with a 10% target, a 4% daily drawdown and a 6% maximum loss, and a Two-Step challenge with targets of 10% then 5%, a 5% daily drawdown and a 10% maximum loss.

The fee is paid upfront and refunded with the first funded payout. HyroTrader’s own guide puts a $100,000 Two-Step challenge at $579. Funded traders start at an 80% profit split that can scale to 90%, with payouts on demand, and HyroTrader requires a stop-loss on trades and limits any single trade’s loss.

HyroTrader suits experienced crypto traders who want exchange-style execution and higher leverage. Leveraged costs far less to attempt, while HyroTrader asks for the full fee before the first trade.

3. Breakout: payouts on demand and a fixed static drawdown

Breakout is a US-based crypto prop firm that runs its own Breakout Trading Terminal. Its challenges start from $20 on the smallest accounts, every plan has a 3% daily loss limit, and the maximum drawdown is static and fixed when the account is created: 6% on Classic, 5% on Pro and 3% on Turbo. Profit targets range from 9% to 12% depending on the plan. Funded traders keep 80%, or 90% with an upgrade bought at checkout, payouts are on demand, and leverage is 5x on Bitcoin and Ether and 2x on altcoins.

Breakout suits traders who want a simple, static loss limit and fast access to payouts, and who are comfortable learning a proprietary platform. Leveraged runs on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, which many forex traders already use.

4. WenCrypto: the lowest entry price, with rules that change once funded

WenCrypto offers three tracks, including a Buy Now, Pay Later program that starts from $4 on the smallest account. On a $100,000 account the upfront payment is $20 and the fee after passing is $589, a total of $609, according to a review of its published pricing. The Buy Now, Pay Later evaluation has a 4% target, an 8% static maximum loss measured at the end of the day, and no daily loss limit.

The rules tighten once funded: a 3% end-of-day daily limit and a 20% consistency rule apply before withdrawals, and the review notes that WenCrypto’s page states two different funded-stage profit splits. Trading runs on Match Trader, and payouts are made every 10 business days.

WenCrypto suits budget-focused traders who want the cheapest possible attempt and a lower target. At $100,000 its total is $40 below Leveraged Crypto’s, while Leveraged runs on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader and keeps the same loss limits from evaluation to funded account.

5. Crypto Fund Trader: a progressive profit split

Crypto Fund Trader is a dedicated crypto prop firm with challenges from $40 on smaller accounts, trading on Match Trader, MetaTrader 5 or Bybit. Its loss limits run from 4% to 5% daily and 6% to 10% overall, depending on the plan, and its profit split is progressive, rising from 50% to 90% as the trader earns more.

Crypto Fund Trader suits traders who expect to stay with one firm long enough for the split to rise. Leveraged pays a flat 80% from the first reward.

What about multi-asset prop firms that offer crypto?

Large multi-asset firms such as FTMO include cryptocurrency CFDs in their general challenges, alongside forex, indices and commodities. That suits traders who want crypto as one part of a wider strategy. Traders who mainly trade crypto usually get better-suited rules, sizes and leverage from a dedicated crypto program like the five above.

How to choose a crypto prop firm

Crypto trades every day of the week and moves faster than most forex pairs, so the rules matter more than the headline account size. Before choosing, compare these points:

What you pay before you know you can pass. Pay-after-you-pass programs (Leveraged, WenCrypto) cost a few dollars per attempt; upfront programs cost the full fee, sometimes refunded later.

The total if you pass. Add the starting payment and any activation fee.

Platform. MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, an exchange such as Bybit, or a proprietary terminal.

Drawdown type. Trailing limits follow your high point; static limits stay fixed.

Leverage. Crypto leverage varies widely between firms, from low single digits to 1:100.

Funded-stage rules. Consistency rules and payout timing often change after you pass.

A crypto prop firm gives traders a funded account, usually simulated, to trade cryptocurrencies after they pass an evaluation. Traders who pass keep a share of the profits, typically 80% to 90%, and the firm sets the profit target, loss limits and payout rules.

Final thoughts

The best crypto prop firm depends on how you trade. Leveraged is the strongest fit for traders who want a dedicated crypto program they can start for $8.88 and pay for only after passing, on MetaTrader 5 or cTrader, with free daily live webinars and rewards paid in crypto or cash. HyroTrader suits exchange traders on Bybit, Breakout offers payouts on demand and a fixed static drawdown, WenCrypto has the cheapest start, and Crypto Fund Trader rewards long-term traders with a rising split. Check each firm’s current rules and prices before buying, because crypto prop firms change them often.
