This crypto news today report separates what the service does from the scale figures Chainlink itself reports.

It lists three uses: prediction markets and perpetual futures with 24/7 trading and settlement, lending protocols that manage tokenized collateral when traditional markets close, and round-the-clock position risk management.
It adds that Aave is adopting the service for institutional RWA lending.

Chainlink's blog says its 24/5 service already covers U.S. equities on weekdays across pre-market, regular, post-market, and overnight sessions.<img alt="Introducing Chainlink 24/7: Always-On Markets for Real-World Assets" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/D0Dtq4se3bbTpmbJy1B7zWQqpia3h6DyhePkVxnk.jpg" width="300" height="636" title="Introducing Chainlink 24/7: Always-On Markets for Real-World Assets">

A gap remained from 8 PM ET Friday to 8 PM ET Sunday and on market holidays.
Applications had to pause markets, rely on the last price, or build their own off-hours logic. Lenders holding tokenized collateral over a weekend face that risk.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-how-does-the-off-hours-price-work-span-span-span">How Does the Off-Hours Price Work?</h2>
Chainlink says 24/7 stitch session prices to an off-hours reference, creating one continuous price series per asset.
When the traditional market closes, the reference uses quotes from multiple perpetual futures venues.
The blog states plainly that this is not a live quote from the closed exchange. It adds that stale inputs are filtered and outliers limited.
<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-english" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Latest crypto news</a> headlines about "always-on" markets should keep that distinction.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-how-is-aave-using-it-span-span-span">How Is Aave Using It?</h2>
Aave is the official launch partner. It uses 24/7 data feeds to price tokenized RWAs used as collateral on Horizon, its institutional lending platform, starting with high-volume U.S. equities.
Aave founder Stani Kulechov is quoted saying Aave can value RWA collateral "through weekends and holidays."
The update calls this institutional RWA lending, and neither source gives collateral volumes.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-which-scale-figures-does-chainlink-report-span-span-span">Which Scale Figures Does Chainlink Report?</h2>
The blog says Chainlink's oracle infrastructure secures about 70% of DeFi and supports over 81% of tokenized RWA value.
It also says 24/5 prices are more than $1.6 billion in tokenized stocks across six blockchains.
All of these figures come from Chainlink and were not independently checked.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/bnb-news-today-four-meme-stock-memes-launch-update" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto news</a> readers should treat them as project claims.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-what-still-needs-proof-span-span-span">What Still Needs Proof?</h2>
The blog gives no list of supported assets beyond high-volume U.S. equities for Aave and no usage numbers for 24/7 itself.
Supported assets must meet&nbsp;<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/chainlink-news-anubis-live-tokenized-trades-adgm" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Chainlink's standards</a> for coverage, liquidity, and pricing consistency.
Its own disclaimer says forward-looking statements may differ from results.
Readers following the latest crypto news on Chainlink 24/7 Launch should watch asset coverage and real collateral use.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-conclusion-span-span-span">Conclusion</h2>
In crypto news today, Chainlink 24/7 Launch fills the weekend and holiday gap with a stitched price, not a live exchange quote. Aave's Horizon is the first named user, and the scale claims are Chainlink's own. Whether always-on pricing expands RWA lending depends on adoption that later data will show.
