<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-solana-news-on-october-30-three-updates-in-focus-span-span">Solana News on October 30: Three Updates in Focus</h2>
Today’s <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/solana-news-google-mpc-solflare-jupiter-bitgo-staking" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Solana News</a> covers a lending pause, a value record, and a product launch. Three official posts from October 29 and 30, 2026 drive the report. SOL also moved lower during the same period.
Each item below cites the post of the project involved. Details may change as the teams share more information.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-kamino-pauses-sol-btc-borrowing-as-a-precaution-span-span">Kamino Pauses SOL/BTC Borrowing as a Precaution</h2>
Kamino is a lending protocol in decentralized finance (DeFi). It <a href="https://x.com/kamino/status/2115927540212650346?a=jv3dkmTwBNgX-8ekApU&amp;amp;amp;amp;s=20" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">shared an update</a> on its official X account on October 30, 2026.
This Solana News item refers to the <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/binance-hacked-news-today-biggest-crypto-heist-bnb-reaction" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ongoing Binance situation</a>. The post does not describe that situation.
<h3 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-kamino-listed-four-points-span-span">Kamino listed four points:</h3>
<ul>
 <li>Status: Kamino said it is currently unaffected.</li>
 <li>Action: It temporarily paused borrowing in the SOL/BTC market as a precaution.</li>
 <li>Monitoring: The team watches events and speaks with various partners.</li>
 <li>Updates: Further updates will appear only on its official X account.</li>
</ul>
<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/defi-lending-vault-beginners-guide" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">In DeFi lending</a>, users deposit assets as collateral and borrow other tokens against them. A pause stops new loans in the named market. The post does not say how long the pause will last.

<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-real-world-asset-value-crosses-5-19-billion-span-span">Real World Asset Value Crosses $5.19 Billion</h2>
Another Solana News update came from the network’s own X account on October 29, 2026. It said <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/solana-news-tokenized-stocks-alpenglow-date" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">real world asset (RWA) value</a> reached a new all time high.
RWAs are traditional assets, such as funds or bonds, put on a blockchain as tokens. The chart used <a href="https://rwa.xyz" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">RWA.xyz data</a> from October 28, 2026 and showed $5.19 billion.
The line starts near zero in December 2023. It rises slowly through mid 2025, then climbs much faster toward the latest reading. The post does not explain what drove the latest jump.

Ondo called the launch the start of a broader on-chain move. The firm said it is expanding access to institutional asset allocation across the network.

<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-expert-opinion-risk-controls-and-tokenized-asset-growth-span-span">Expert Opinion: Risk Controls and Tokenized Asset Growth</h2>
The three updates show two trends in the wider <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-bitcoin-ethereum-price-today-fed-rate-pce-inflation" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto news</a> cycle. Lending protocols act fast when outside events raise questions about risk. Kamino chose a narrow step, pausing only one market while it monitors events.
At the same time, tokenized finance keeps growing on the network. RWA value and new products both advanced within one day.
Each trend carries its own risk. Lending pauses can protect users but also limit access to credit. Tokenized products add choice but depend on issuer and partner controls.
Both trends depend on user trust in <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/on-chain-analysis-explained-metrics-tools-strategy" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">on-chain systems</a>. However, the Kamino post gives few details, so wider effects remain unconfirmed. Launch details come from the issuers themselves, so independent checks remain useful.
