 three.ws, the open-source platform that gives AI agents a 3D body, a wallet and an on-chain identity, has partnered with Microsoft. three.ws now has its own partner listing on Microsoft Marketplace, putting the platform in front of millions of users across Microsoft's channels.

The partnership also opens a new chapter for three.ws marketing. Alongside its existing partners, three.ws can now bring joint co-marketing to Microsoft's partner channels, co-authored blogs, AMAs, livestreamed builds and in-world launch events.

<h2 id="header-0">What three.ws is</h2>
Most AI agents live in a chat window. On three.ws they get a face, a voice, a wallet, a reputation and a world to walk around in.
Type a sentence, upload a photo or draw a sketch, and three.ws builds a textured 3D model or a rigged, animated avatar. Give that avatar an LLM brain, memory and a voice, register it on-chain, and drop it into any web page with one tag. Everything runs in the browser, and the whole stack is open source under the Apache-2.0 license at github.com/nirholas/three.ws.
The platform has moved fast. The first commit landed on April 14, 2026, the platform went live on May 1, and the repository now holds more than 12,000 commits.
<h2 id="header-1">Why Microsoft matters for three.ws</h2>
Microsoft already sits close to the three.ws stack:
<ul>
 <li>TRELLIS, Microsoft's open-weight 3D generation model, powers much of Forge, the three.ws text-to-3D and image-to-3D studio.</li>
 <li>The three.ws x402 payments extension ships on the VS Code Marketplace.</li>
 <li>The full three.ws codebase lives on GitHub.</li>
 <li>Every three.ws tool speaks the Model Context Protocol, which Microsoft's Copilot Studio also supports.</li>
</ul>
The Microsoft Marketplace listing gives three.ws a place in Microsoft's enterprise catalog, next to its existing presence on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace and its AWS Partner status.
Certifying three.ws MCP servers for Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot, bringing live 3D agents into Microsoft Teams, and publishing a production case study of TRELLIS running inside Forge.
<h2 id="header-2">Co-marketing opportunities</h2>
three.ws is open to co-marketing with partners, platforms and projects that build with it. Every piece can ship with a working demo: a partner's model, chain or tool running inside a live 3D agent, filmed against production and embeddable on the partner's own site with one tag.
Formats on offer:
<ul>
 <li>Co-authored blogs and case studies, published on three.ws, partner blogs, CoinMarketCap, HackerNoon, Hugging Face, Dev.to, Medium, IBM Community, AWS Builder Center, the NVIDIA Developer Forums and Microsoft Tech Community</li>
 <li>AMAs with the three.ws team and partner experts on X Spaces, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, IBM Community and Microsoft Tech Community, or live inside the three.ws 3D world, optionally co-hosted by a 3D agent</li>
 <li>Livestreamed builds that go from a blank page to a working 3D agent on the partner's stack, on X, YouTube, Microsoft Reactor and IBM channels</li>
 <li>In-world launch events and meetups with a stage, spatial voice and souvenir drops, like the first holders meetup that peaked at 3,145 concurrent avatars</li>
 <li>The daily partner spotlight on @trythreews, a thread about one partner and one thing built on its technology, with a reel filmed live</li>
 <li>Joint integration launches announced on both companies' blogs, social channels and changelogs</li>
