The XRP Ledger (XRPL) recorded a substantial increase in active accounts, reflecting stronger blockchain participation despite XRP’s persistent price weakness. Network data shows activity approaching twice the levels observed during quieter periods earlier this year.

According to XRPScan data, XRPL registered 30,604 active accounts on October 26, exceeding its 30-day average of 18,600. This represents approximately 65% growth above the monthly average, highlighting increased participation across the blockchain.

Additionally, active accounts increased 6% within 24 hours, reinforcing the recovery in network engagement observed throughout September and October.

XRPL Network Participation Strengthens Following Months of Lower Activity

XRPL’s annual activity chart shows considerable fluctuations throughout 2026, with daily active accounts generally ranging between 13,000 and 20,000. Network engagement remained relatively subdued between June and August before participation began recovering in September and accelerated during October.

Significantly, the October 26 reading exceeded the monthly average by 12,004 accounts, demonstrating substantial growth in blockchain participation. Previous activity spikes occasionally pushed account counts above 30,000, placing the latest reading among stronger periods recorded this year.

Meanwhile, XRPScan tracks unique active senders, providing insight into transaction participation rather than simply measuring registered wallet addresses.P Higher participation may reflect increased transfers, trading activity, or renewed engagement among existing XRP Ledger users.

XRP Price Remains Under Pressure Despite Rising Network Activity

Despite stronger blockchain participation, XRP has struggled to regain upward momentum, with its market price remaining below important technical levels. XRP is near $1.29, following a decline from September and October highs between $1.55 and $1.60.

Additionally, the cryptocurrency trades beneath several important moving averages, reflecting persistent selling pressure across its daily trading structure. Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index remains within the lower half of its range, indicating relatively limited buying strength.

XRP Faces Key Resistance as Network Recovery Gains Momentum

The $1.30 region remains an important near-term level as XRP attempts to recover from its recent decline. A sustained recovery above this area could improve short-term conditions, although higher moving averages remain potential resistance levels.

Ultimately, XRPL’s increasing participation contrasts with XRP’s weaker price performance, leaving sustained network activity and improved market demand important recovery factors.
