XRP advertisements have appeared across New York City's subway system as Ripple opens its Swell 2026 conference on October 27, putting the cryptocurrency's branding in front of commuters just as major Wall Street executives gather in Manhattan.
Videos circulating on social media show subway cars and station interiors around 42nd Street featuring prominent white XRP logos against black backgrounds, alongside American flags and the message ”Crypto Responsibly.”
The displays were highlighted in an <a href="https://u.today/xrp-takes-over-new-york-city-subway-advertising" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">October 26 report by U.Today</a>, although the campaign's organizer, advertising budget and duration have not been officially disclosed.XRP Branding Spreads Across New York Ahead of Ripple Swell
The advertisements extend beyond a conventional digital billboard campaign, appearing on subway trains and within station areas.
Manhattan's 42nd Street transit corridor connects heavily used commuter and tourist destinations, giving XRP branding exposure outside the cryptocurrency industry's usual online audience.
The campaign also follows the <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37595/xrp-gets-official-x-account-after-14-years-ripple-and-xrpl-foundation-take-joint-control" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">launch of XRP's official X account</a> on October 19, more than 14 years after the XRP Ledger began operating.
Jointly managed by Ripple and the XRP Ledger Foundation, the account introduced a coordinated public identity for the digital asset alongside the XRP.org website.
The website focuses on payments, blockchain applications and the cryptocurrency's underlying technology. Its responsible-crypto messaging resembles the slogan displayed in New York.
The subway campaign adds a physical dimension to XRP's expanding public presence, although it remains unclear whether the advertisements were commissioned by Ripple, the XRP Ledger Foundation or another organization.Ripple Swell 2026 Brings Wall Street Executives to Manhattan
According to the <a href="https://swell.ripple.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">official Swell website</a>, the October 27–29 event expects more than 1,500 attendees, over 100 speakers and upwards of 80 sessions across three stages.
Ripple has combined Swell with the XRP Ledger-focused Apex conference and its university research initiative, bringing institutional finance and blockchain development into one event.
The <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37809/ripple-prepares-80-sessions-at-swell-2026-as-banks-and-developers-gather-for-three-days-in-new-york" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">confirmed speaker lineup</a> includes executives from CME Group, BNY, Robinhood, Intercontinental Exchange and other financial organizations.
Their participation reflects growing institutional interest in digital asset infrastructure, although appearing at the conference does not constitute an XRP investment or commercial partnership.
The conference will cover <a href="https://coinpaper.com/36683/ripple-says-the-first-year-of-spot-xrp-etfs-is-now-an-institutional-topic-at-swell" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">institutional XRP ETFs</a>, tokenized securities, stablecoins, custody and blockchain infrastructure.
David Schwartz is also scheduled to discuss <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37039/xrp-ledgers-next-phase-david-schwartz-to-outline-privacy-ai-and-defi-push" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRPL's next development phase</a>, including privacy, artificial intelligence and decentralized finance.Could XRP's Advertising Push Influence Market Sentiment?
The subway advertisements follow an October 24–25 <a href="https://coinpaper.com/34816/payment-giant-mastercard-backs-xrp-ledger-hackathon-as-builders-target-ai-finance-and-on-chain-lending" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP Ledger hackathon</a> supported by companies including Mastercard, Ripple and Amazon Web Services.
Together, the developer gathering, promotional campaign and Swell conference have created a concentrated week of attention around XRP in New York.
However, increased visibility does not necessarily translate into demand for the cryptocurrency.
XRP has recently faced <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37820/xrp-faces-november-1-escrow-release-as-price-remains-below-1-40" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">market pressure below $1.40</a>, even as Ripple expands its institutional relationships.
