The Ritual mainnet launch put 1.8 billion tokens into circulation on 26 October 2026, the same day Coinbase opened spot trading. The Ritual Foundation says its Layer 1 network, Chain ID 784, lets software agents hold their own keys, earn revenue and pay for their own compute.

How the Ritual Mainnet Launch Turns AI Agents Into Paying Customers

The Ritual AI blockchain grew out of Infernet, an earlier network for onchain AI inference. It is now an EVM-compatible chain where identity, inference and settlement sit together.
The official doc describes software shifting from a tool people operate into an actor that controls capital and chases set goals. That makes the agent a new kind of compute customer.
Native $RITUAL pays for gas, model calls, HTTP requests and scheduled jobs. Executors earn tokens for delivering compute, and validators are paid to coordinate jobs and settle transactions.

Ritual tokenomics start with 10 billion tokens, of which 1.8 billion were unlocked at launch. The Ritual total supply has no cap. Ritual Airdrop Claim: Who Qualifies for the 50 Million RITUAL Tokens
Crypto airdrop news centers on 50 million $RITUAL, fully unlocked with no vesting. The Ritual airdrop rewards sustained contribution across three groups:

Infernet node operators, weighted by uptime and workloads served

Frenrug users, the early autonomous agent participants

Long-time community members, including ambassadors and steady Discord contributors

Allocations can stack across groups, and botted activity was filtered out. A Ritual airdrop claim starts at airdrop.ritualfoundation.org, where a wallet is connected to check eligibility. Only that official address should be used, since fake claim pages often follow major launches.
The Ritual mainnet launch has handed the onchain AI token a price test before any utility test. The real proof will arrive when agents pay executors for work at scale, and when the first staker votes show how much control the foundation will release.
