Ripple's reported $50 billion valuation differs from XRP's $132 billion market capitalization, which measures the token's market value.

During a private meeting with investors, Brad Garlinghouse again mentioned the subject of Ripple's long term plans and XRP holders' patience.

Investors need measurable evidence of token demand and network usage before linking Ripple's corporate growth directly to XRP's performance.

XRP Investors are considering a $50 billion valuation vs a $132 billion market cap and raising delivery and long-term questions again about Ripple.

Ripple's Valuation Draws Attention to XRP

Michael Healy shared a photograph after meeting Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse at the company's office. His post gave Ripple a valuation of nearly $50 billion and XRP's market capitalization was close to $132 billion.

The numbers refer to various assets and are not necessarily comparable. The valuation is for Ripple and the capitalization is for XRP. These figures alone do not provide an accurate indication of the value that investors can realize.

Healy said he didn't reveal the valuation process or the factors that influenced the numbers reported. His post also provided no information about new investments or agreements. The available details therefore offer limited evidence of immediate changes in Ripple's business.

The conference ultimately revived Garlinghouse's five-year vision for Ripple and XRP. Investors could find these discussions helpful when evaluating a company's course. But private talks are not a way to determine if those plans have produced tangible results.

Expectations Remain High Among XRP Investors

John Squire responded by expressing respect for Garlinghouse's vision while questioning the wait for results. He said that the patience of XRP holders had been demonstrated over the past few years. His words are about what is happening now and what might happen in the future.

That worry is of the difference between corporate advancement and token performance. XRP demand does not need to keep up with the growth of ripple. The relationship is contingent on the use of the token in the services and its continued use.

Corporate partnerships and product development may strengthen Ripple's business position. Yet announcements alone cannot establish lasting buying pressure in the XRP market. Evidence of actual token use would help clarify that relationship.

Squire's position does not dismiss Ripple's ambitions or Garlinghouse's plans. Instead, it asks when those plans will produce results that holders can assess. That question remains separate from the company's reported valuation.

Measurable Results Matter More Than Promises

The numbers are for reference only, and won't determine the trajectory of XRP. The price of tokens also depends on the supply, the amount of trading, liquidity, and broader market conditions. Ripple's corporate valuation cannot independently determine those factors.

For XRP Investors, payment activity and transaction demand offer useful measures to examine. Network usage can help show whether the token serves practical purposes. However, usage figures must be interpreted alongside market conditions and supply data.

The post contains no new financial disclosures from Ripple or details of Garlinghouse's remarks. It also does not identify any commitments made by the attending investment groups. Claims of an immediate market catalyst would therefore go beyond the available evidence.

The business potential of Ripple and the investment case of XRP are two separate matters. Growth can help to build confidence but a discernable relationship is required for token holders. That connection cannot be assumed from a valuation headline.

Squire's criticism centres on accountability after years of investor expectations. Ripple's future progress will be easier to judge through disclosed results and measurable activity. Until then, the debate over delivery versus promises will remain central to XRP's investment case.
