Anyone tracking the XRP price this month knows the pattern: every bounce runs out of breath before $1.40. XRP sits near $1.30, down 12.5% since October 1. Yet a Nasdaq company already holding about 473 million XRP just filed to raise up to $132.2 million more, and money that size rarely moves without a reason.

The reason sits in XRP's own history. In January 2017, XRP traded under one cent, and a year later it hit $3.84, a run that paid whoever locked in a price before the crowd showed up. Evernorth's warrant holders are betting on that same idea. Smaller buyers are chasing it through Pepeto, the presale from Pepe's cofounder, where over $11.1 million has gone in at fixed stage prices.

Evernorth Files to Raise Up to $132.2 Million While Holding 473 Million XRP

Evernorth, the Ripple backed firm that trades on Nasdaq as XRPN, filed with the SEC on October 19. The filing covers up to 11,499,992 shares from warrants priced at $11.50 each, about $132.2 million if all are used, Yellow reported.

The stock closed at $15.45 on October 16, per Parameter, well above that $11.50 warrant price. The cash goes to general company needs, not to buying XRP. So the part worth watching is the deal itself, because warrant holders get a fixed price that already sits well below the market.

Pepeto: A Live Exchange Where a $1,000 Swap Costs $0

That warrant setup is the cleanest way to explain Pepeto. Evernorth's warrant holders own a set price while the stock trades $3.95 higher, and Pepeto buyers own a set stage price while the next stage already costs more. Early price first, higher price later: both deals pay whoever shows up first.

Pepeto also gives buyers something to use before listing. Its own exchange, PepetoSwap, is already live, and traders buy and sell there without handing over a cut.

The savings add up fast. A $1,000 trade costs $3 on Uniswap and $2.50 on PancakeSwap, while on PepetoSwap it costs $0 plus network gas. Over 200 trades of $5,000, fees reach $3,000 on Uniswap and $2,500 on PancakeSwap, while PepetoSwap stays at zero. For an active trader, that is money kept, trade after trade.

The free swap works because the pool behind each trade comes from the project treasury and from stakers, who are paid from a staking fund, not from trading fees. A private relay keeps trading bots from jumping ahead of orders, and coins never leave the owner's wallet.

That live exchange is now heading toward its first listing, with a Binance listing approaching. Once the token lists, new buyers pay market price, not stage price. Analysts project 1000x after listing, which would turn a $500 stage buy into $500,000.

Each stage closes when its timer ends or its target fills, whichever comes first. Until listing day, the stage price is the only price on offer, and it only climbs.

Can the XRP Price Break $1.38 This Month?

The XRP price can top $1.38 this month once it gets past $1.34. XRP trades near $1.30, per CoinMarketCap. Analyst Olivia Stephanie puts support at $1.28 to $1.30, with the first wall at the 100 day EMA, $1.3353, per crypto.news.

The harder test sits just above. The 20, 50 and 200 day EMAs bunch near $1.37, making $1.37 to $1.38 the hardest barrier, and with RSI at 36.49 and a negative MACD, buyers still have work to do.

From our analysis, a close above $1.38 opens a clean path to $1.45 to $1.50, with CoinCentral's SuperTrend target close by at $1.46. If $1.28 gives way, $1.20 to $1.25 comes into play.

Conclusion: The XRP Price Fights at $1.38, While Pepeto Still Sells at Its Stage Price

This week's XRP price story is a slow fight at $1.38, but XRP's own past shows where fortunes really start. On January 1, 2017, $100 bought XRP that was worth about $60,000 at its January 2018 peak, per CoinMarketCap.

Pepe proved the same thing with nothing but a meme, reaching a value near $12 billion at its December 2024 peak. Pepeto has the same cofounder plus a live exchange, and over $11.1 million is already in.

The buyers who lock today's stage price on the Pepeto official website are taking the same early seat XRP handed out in 2017, and once this stage closes, that seat and the 1000x analysts attach to it belong to someone else.

Why are XRP traders buying Pepeto at its stage price?
