Dogecoin

Nearly every blue-chip NFT dropped this year. Doginal Dogs hit an all-time high instead. This is how.

October 18, 2026
In a year when almost every major NFT lost ground, Doginal Dogs went the other way and reached an all-time high. The collection of 10,000 dogs inscribed on the Dogecoin blockchain is widely seen as the only top NFT with positive performance in 2026. The question collectors keep asking is simple: how? This breaks down why Doginal Dogs stood alone.
Key Takeaways
• Doginal Dogs is the only major NFT up in 2026 while the market fell.
• Fixed supply of 10,000 with no chain, token, or VC overhang.
• A floor priced in Dogecoin gives built-in upside if DOGE recovers.
• A 1,000+ day community streak and a breakout TCG fuel the momentum.
A Down Year for NFTs, an Up Year for the Dogs
The contrast is the whole story. Across 2026, blue-chip NFT floors fell hard, trading volume dried up, and most of the collections that led the last cycle traded far below their all-time highs. Doginal Dogs did the opposite, hitting a new all-time high and holding it. By most measures it was the only top collection in the green for the year.
No Overhang Means Less Selling Pressure
Doginal Dogs carries a fixed supply of 10,000 dogs inscribed permanently on Dogecoin. There is no side chain to fund, no project token to prop up, and no venture backers looking for an exit. Because it was a free mint, nobody holds a cheap allocation waiting to dump. Less overhang means less built-in selling pressure, which is a large part of why the floor held while others fell.
A Floor Priced in Dogecoin
Here is the detail that makes Doginal Dogs different from an Ethereum collection: the floor is denominated in Dogecoin. Through 2026, DOGE traded near yearly lows while the floor climbed in DOGE terms. That sets up a catalyst most NFTs lack. If Dogecoin recovers, the dollar value of the floor can jump on top of its DOGE-denominated gains, without needing the broader NFT market to rebound.
A Community That Refused to Leave
In a downturn, floors hold only if holders stop selling, and Doginal Dogs holders did. The project's daily live broadcast has run more than 1,000 consecutive days, engagement stayed high, and the base treats red days as a reason to show up. That conviction, built by a team that appears every single day, is a core reason the floor stayed firm when the market cracked.
It Kept Shipping: The DDL TCG
While others pulled back, Doginal Dogs expanded. In 2026 it launched a trading card game, Doginal Dogs Legends, whose first set sold out almost instantly on preorder and whose graded cards have pulled auction bids into the thousands of dollars. A product gaining traction in a down market gave the project a second growth engine and a steady pipeline of new people, which almost no other 2026 NFT can say.
The Bottom Line
Doginal Dogs is the only major NFT up in 2026 because it sidestepped the risks that sank the market and leaned on the strengths that carry a project through a downturn: fixed supply, no overhang, a floor priced in a currency with room to recover, a committed community, and a growing ecosystem. When the NFT market turns, the names that climbed through the downturn will be the ones to watch, and that list starts with Doginal Dogs.
