X Money

The connection between XRP and Elon Musk’s X Money platform remains a pursuit for Digital Asset Investor (@digitalassetbuy) and XRP pundits. Now, with Cross River Bank announcing a partnership with Ripple to integrate RLUSD into its core banking infrastructure, that connection is becoming harder to dismiss.

The X Money Link Takes Shape

Cross River Bank is connected to Stripe, and Digital Asset Investor pointed out that Stripe is X Money’s backend. Cross River Bank confirmed it will support transactions on the XRP ledger, integrating RLUSD into its core banking platform for cross-border settlement.
He has maintained for years that X Money would involve XRP on the back end. The Cross River Bank announcement, he argues, is the path XRP takes to connect with X Money. Institutional analysts have echoed the sentiment, noting the announcement was anticipated months in advance through careful tracking of institutional publications.

The Numbers Behind the Supply Crunch

While the X Money angle generates attention, Digital Asset Investor considers the XRP supply situation equally significant. The total XRP supply sits at 100 billion tokens. Burns from ledger transactions reduce that number constantly. Institutional accumulation is accelerating the compression further.
He referenced the Modern Investor (@ModernInvest), who laid out the numbers. Companies have purchased 1 billion XRP in single transactions. In one 24-hour period alone, 1.6 billion XRP was pulled off exchanges. At that rate, more than 1% of total supply exits exchanges per day. At that pace, the entire circulating supply evaporates in under 100 days.

Who’s Holding and Who’s Left Out

Digital Asset Investor connects every piece of institutional activity to this supply squeeze. Evernorth, ETFs, and the growing collateral use case all serve the same function. With Ripple holding a portion it has committed not to sell, and early institutional buyers sitting on large positions accumulated over 14 years, the available float shrinks further. He estimates only 30 to 40 billion XRP remain realistically accessible.

The Institutional Case and Price Outlook

Ripple CLO Stuart Alderoty called Evernorth’s regulatory achievement “a badge of validation” for institutional adoption. Analyst Matt Hougan projected hundreds of trillions of dollars in global assets will move on-chain, citing equity, bond, and real estate markets alone.
Digital Asset Investor places XRP at the top of the roughly 25 core infrastructure assets the DTCC expects to emerge. On price, he called $5 to $8 “ridiculously achievable in weeks, months.” XRP currently trades at $1.34.
