XRP fell 5.22% over 24 hours and is as of writing trading at $1.30. The hourly chart depicts multiple rebounding failures to turn the downward trend. As a result, traders are looking to see if immediate support holds up to additional selling.

The downtrend came near $1.37 and got a slight push towards $1.38. Around 8:00 AM, selling picked up, accelerating toward $1.34. Subsequent recovery attempts struggled to restore the earlier trading range.

During the evening, the token approached $1.30 before recovering briefly toward $1.32. Another rejection pushed prices lower, extending the session's downward movement. Buyers have yet to demonstrate sustained control over short-term price action.

Trading activity increased as prices declined, according to the supplied market figures. The volume of 24 hours rose around 50.09% to around $3.13 billion. The market cap, meanwhile, dropped 5.23% to about $82.62 billion.

The pattern suggests prices could decline further before attempting a rebound. However, the proposed recovery depends on how buyers respond to support.

The immediate $1.30 level will stay important after a few tests in the decline. The next reference visible for selling is in the vicinity of $1.28. Recovering $1.32 and $1.34 would suggest good short-term momentum.

A successful defense of $1.25 could place $1.42 within reach. This level represents the channel's middle region and an initial recovery objective. Buyers would need to overcome this barrier before targeting higher levels.

The following target is close to $1.60 with some selling pressure seen previously. It would take time for buyers to accumulate it and have some positive upward movement. Conversely, a decisive break below $1.25 would weaken the proposed channel structure.

Gem Wallet has announced dynamic transaction fees for XRP Ledger users. Its post says charges can adjust according to prevailing network conditions. Users can also select between Normal and Fast transaction speeds.

The wallet cites a possible transaction fee of 0.00002 XRP during quiet periods. This compares with the previously stated fee of 0.005 XRP. The lower amount is approximately 250 times smaller, although charges may vary.

This feature may provide more flexibility to frequent users in managing transfer costs. The minimum price stated does not, however, set a standard price for all transactions. Network conditions and the wallet's implementation may influence the final amount.

Gem Wallet's announcement provides limited detail about its calculation method and eligibility conditions. Users should verify the displayed charge before confirming a transfer. Meanwhile, traders continue watching $1.30, with $1.28 and $1.25 remaining key downside references.
