Holding 2,081 XRP could place an investor among the top 10% of accounts on the XRP rich list, based on figures discussed by Digital Asset Investor on X.
In a <a href="https://x.com/digitalassetbuy/status/2110400244571603229" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">video</a> revisiting the rankings, he referenced data shared by Riz XRP and outlined the reported XRP balances required to qualify for three different groups.
<h2 id="strong-3-7-million-xrp-needed-for-the-top-0-01-strong">3.7 Million XRP Needed for the Top 0.01%</h2>
The highest category Digital Asset Investor discussed was the top 0.01%. He said investors need 3.7 million XRP to enter this group, which contains 823 accounts in the figures he cited.
That balance sets a high threshold for investors seeking to rank within this category. It also clearly separates the top 0.01% from the other groups in the update.
Digital Asset Investor presented the figure as part of his review of the rich list, drawing on the numbers Riz XRP had shared. The reported account count shows how small this category is compared with the broader groups he examined.

<h2 id="strong-top-0-1-requires-274-000-xrp-strong">Top 0.1% Requires 274,000 XRP</h2>
The next category covers the top 0.1% of <a href="https://timestabloid.com/update-for-xrp-holders-entire-ledger-wallet-supply-chain-is-under-attack/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP holders. </a>Digital Asset Investor put the number of accounts in this group at 8,228 and said investors need 274,000 XRP to qualify.
This requirement is considerably lower than the 3.7 million XRP threshold for the top 0.01%. However, it remains much higher than the balance associated with the top 10%.
The account count also increases from 823 in the top 0.01% to 8,228 in the top 0.1%. These figures illustrate how the number of accounts changes as the ranking expands.
<h2 id="strong-2-081-xrp-for-the-top-10-strong">2,081 XRP for the Top 10%</h2>
Digital Asset Investor’s final comparison focused on the top 10%. He said this category includes 822,770 accounts, with a reported entry requirement of 2,081 XRP.
Compared with the other two groups, this category covers a much larger number of accounts and requires a substantially smaller balance. The three figures give <a href="https://timestabloid.com/pundit-says-majority-of-xrp-holders-dont-deserve-the-wealth-they-fantasize-heres-why/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP holders </a>different benchmarks for comparing their holdings with the rankings discussed in the video.
Digital Asset Investor ended his review by calling the numbers interesting. However, the figures he cited do not necessarily represent individual investors, since one person can control multiple <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-validator-scanned-all-7-8-million-accounts-on-xrpl-heres-what-the-data-says/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP accounts</a>. The account counts and balance thresholds should therefore be understood within that limitation.
