Anyone reading an ethereum price prediction this week wants proof that the drop is over. ETH fell 4.91% in a day to $2,373.54, per CoinMarketCap. Yet on October 13, a broker with $964.7 billion of client money opened ETH staking to its clients, per Bitcoin.com News.

That is a strong signal on a red day. ETH has fallen hard before and still climbed from about $0.31 in 2014 to $4,953.73. Staking is one reason holders stay, since a locked coin earns instead of being sold.

Pepeto, a presale meme token with a no fee swap platform, runs the same staking idea at a much earlier stage. Buyers have already put more than $11.1 million into it, and its stakers earn from day one.

Ethereum Price Prediction News: How Will Interactive Brokers Clients Stake ETH?

Interactive Brokers clients now stake ETH straight from their own account through Zerohash, The Block reported on October 13. Rewards come back as more ETH, and ETH is the only coin on offer at launch.

CEO Milan Galik compared it to the firm's program that pays clients for lending out stocks. The offer opens a huge pool of money to ETH staking, and every coin that gets staked is a coin taken off the market.

ETH Staking Goes Mainstream, While Pepeto Stakers Earn Rewards They Claim at Listing

Pepeto: The Same Staking Idea, Started at a Presale Price

Staking works on one plain rule. Coins locked in staking are not for sale, so buyers find fewer of them when demand shows up. The rule works on a small coin too, and Pepeto puts it to work while the coin is still in presale.

Pepeto stakers earn 161% APY right now and claim their rewards when the coin lists. The rate moves daily with the amount staked, so it is not fixed. Locked plans keep the rate shown on the day a buyer joins for the whole term, which turns the wait before listing into time that pays.

Stakers also help run PepetoSwap, the project's exchange. Their coins fill its trading pool, and they are paid from the staking budget rather than from trade fees. That is why a swap there costs 0%, with only network gas to pay. A $1,000 trade costs $3 on Uniswap and nothing on PepetoSwap.

Size is where Pepeto and ETH split. At the presale price, all 420 trillion tokens are worth about $80 million, while ETH is worth $289.89 billion. Analysts project 300x for Pepeto after it lists, and a coin this small needs far less new money to get there.

Interactive Brokers clients will stake a coin already worth hundreds of billions. Pepeto stakers earn on a coin still in its presale, where the price rises at every new stage until the listing. The idea is the same, but the entry is much earlier, and that gap is where the bigger return comes from.

Can ETH Reach $3,280 After This Week's Drop?

ETH can reach $3,270 to $3,280 after a daily close above $2,813, says IG Europe's Bouhmidi on October 15. Today the line to hold is $2,357 to $2,370, where the 100 day EMA meets the floor of a rectangle pattern. RSI sits near 48.5, so buyers and sellers are close to even.

A bounce off that floor points to about $2,585 first, and a daily close above $2,813 opens $3,000 before the full target.

FinanceFeeds analyst Tobi Opeyemi Amure sees a bear case of $2,150 if ETH closes below its 200 day EMA near $2,299. From our analysis, the $3,280 target is realistic, and it would add about 38% to a $289 billion coin. That is a solid move the whole market already sees coming.

Conclusion: A $289 Billion Coin Would Need $87 Trillion for 300x

A big broker opening ETH staking is good news for any ethereum price prediction, but 300x from here would need ETH worth about $87 trillion. Pepeto needs a small slice of that, because its whole supply is worth about $80 million at the presale price.

The same staking idea already runs inside its presale, which has drawn more than $11.1 million. If analysts are right about 300x, $1,000 at today's stage would turn into about $300,000 after listing, though nothing is promised.

The stage open on the Pepeto official website closes when its timer or target runs out, and the next one costs more. That means stakers who join now earn their rewards on the lowest entry still on offer.

What is the ethereum price prediction after Interactive Brokers opened ETH staking?

The ethereum price prediction from IG points to $3,280 if ETH closes a day above $2,813. FinanceFeeds sees a bear case near $2,150 below $2,300.

How does the ETH outlook compare with Pepeto's room to grow?

Pepeto has far more room, because 300x on ETH would need $87 trillion. Pepeto stakers also earn 161% APY on a presale entry before listing.
