Jacob Metzger (@MasterHuzzah) recently revealed that he has stopped buying XRP. For anyone who has followed the Tony Robbins-trained wealth coach over the years, that headline may raise an eyebrow. The reason, however, has nothing to do with doubt.
Metzger set a price target for XRP back in 2022. He has been accumulating since 2020. He recently hit that goal, the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. “To finally reach my target today is immensely satisfying,” Metzger said.

What Comes Next?

Reaching the goal frees up capital. Metzger plans to redirect that capital into real estate, hard assets like gold and silver, and other digital assets including XLM, HBAR, and Quant. He also named SpaceX as a conviction position, citing what he calls a “gargantuan” trajectory for the company over the next decade.
He mentioned plans to meet with his advisory board to update his portfolio and set new targets. This is not a retreat from investing. His stance on XRP is well-known. He recently said the XRP repricing is inevitable. Instead, it is a reallocation. Metzger reached a predetermined number, locked it in, and is now putting fresh capital to work elsewhere.

The Price Prediction He Has Never Said Publicly

Metzger saved the most notable part of his announcement for the end. He shared his first-ever public price prediction for XRP by 2030. His bearish case is $100. His bullish case is $1,000 or more.
These are significant numbers relative to where XRP trades today. Metzger didn’t walk through a detailed model to arrive at them, but he presented both as genuine scenarios he believes are possible within the next several years.

Why XRP Still Has His Attention

Metzger’s video also featured commentary from EasyA co-founder Dom Kwok, who has maintained a consistently bullish position on XRP. Kwok pointed to Ripple’s acquisition of Hidden Road as evidence that the XRP ledger will see real-world utility, specifically in trade settlement. He described the ledger as faster and cheaper than existing alternatives.
Kwok also shared his own price target. “I think XRP is heading to $1,000 by 2030,” he said, calling it “probably one of the most important projects out there at the moment.”

The Takeaway

Metzger’s decision to stop buying XRP shows discipline, not disillusionment. He set a goal, reached it, and is now executing the next phase of his financial plan. His $100 to $1,000-plus prediction by 2030 reflects continued belief in the asset even as he shifts focus.
