@Binance has placed @biconomy's $BICO and @civickey's $CVC under its Monitoring Tag, a designation that flags tokens for elevated scrutiny and raises the prospect of a future delisting. The move was first flagged by WuBlockchain on October 9, 2026.

What the Monitoring Tag Actually Means

The Monitoring Tag is not a delisting notice, but it is far from a clean bill of health. The tag warns that an asset may no longer meet Binance's listing standards, and tokens carrying it can face delisting if they fail to satisfy those criteria. The designation does not itself remove BICO or CVC from the platform. It signals that Binance will apply additional scrutiny to the two assets while they remain listed.

For traders, the practical impact is immediate. Binance requires anyone wishing to trade Monitoring Tag tokens to complete a risk assessment quiz every 90 days, as well as accept the Terms of Use on both the Binance Spot and Margin platforms. The exchange may also examine factors such as development activity, liquidity, network security, and transparency during its review process.

How Seriously Should Holders Take This?

History suggests the tag carries real weight. Tokens including ALCX, ARDR, NFP, and POND were tagged in June 2026 and later fully delisted effective July 10, 2026, meaning Monitoring Tag additions have increasingly functioned as reliable early warning signals. That said, the outcome is not predetermined. The tag represents a structured warning period that gives a project a defined window to demonstrate improvement, and many tokens have had the Monitoring Tag successfully removed after meeting Binance's review criteria.

Binance has not cited specific reasons for flagging BICO or CVC on this occasion. The exchange typically weighs team commitment, development activity, trading volume, network stability, and tokenomics changes during each review, and evidence of fraud or negligence can also trigger the tag. Both tokens will now be subject to periodic assessments, with their continued listing dependent on meeting those standards.

Holders of either asset should monitor official communications from Binance closely for any follow-up announcement.
