XRP’s long-term momentum has reached a level that appeared only a handful of times in the asset’s history. Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto&nbsp;has identified a fourth major crossover on XRP’s two-month Relative Strength Index (RSI), pointing to a historical pattern that previously accompanied significant price expansion.
<h2 id="strong-xrp-records-its-fourth-major-rsi-crossover-strong">XRP Records Its Fourth Major RSI Crossover</h2>
Egrag Crypto focused on XRP’s two-month RSI, which has now moved above the green line near 53. The analyst noted that XRP has reached this level only four times since its inception.
The first occurrence came in 2017, followed by another in 2021. XRP recorded the third occurrence in 2024/25, and the latest crossover is taking place in the current cycle.
Egrag Crypto stressed the importance of the signal’s timeframe.
“This isn’t a 4H chart. This isn’t daily noise. This is the 2-month time frame,” the analyst stated.
The two-month RSI provides a broader view of XRP’s momentum than shorter timeframes. Rather than focusing on daily price fluctuations, the indicator captures sustained changes in buying and selling pressure.

<h2 id="strong-rsi-80-emerges-as-the-next-key-level-strong">RSI 80 Emerges as the Next Key Level</h2>
Egrag Crypto’s chart places RSI 80 as the next major level to monitor. Previous moves above the 53 region eventually pushed XRP’s two-month RSI toward this higher zone.
The analyst’s current setup suggests that XRP could follow a similar path if the historical pattern continues. A move toward RSI 80 would represent a substantial increase in long-term momentum and would require sustained buying pressure across an extended period.
The significance of the setup comes from the rarity of the signal. XRP has recorded this two-month RSI crossover only a few times throughout its history, making the current reading different from the frequent signals that appear on shorter charts.
<h2 id="strong-traders-react-to-egrag-crypto-s-analysis-strong">Traders React to Egrag Crypto’s Analysis</h2>
The analysis also generated different reactions from traders discussing <a href="https://timestabloid.com/analyst-last-time-this-happened-xrp-rallied-1000x/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP’s potential trajectory.</a> Vapours4u <a href="https://x.com/vapours4u1/status/2104973465501806812?s=46" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">responded</a> with cautious optimism while referencing Egrag Crypto’s higher price targets.
“Hope one day we will reach ur $27 and then other higher targets in real,” the trader wrote.
KingPinXRP took a more confident position on the technical data, <a href="https://x.com/kingpinxrp/status/2104999611110916256?s=46" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">writing</a>, “Nice RSI chart Egrag just data no one should try and argue with facts.”
The comment also addressed uncertainty surrounding XRP’s broader market cycle and how traders interpret long-term technical patterns.
<h2 id="strong-the-two-month-rsi-keeps-the-focus-on-the-bigger-picture-strong">The Two-Month RSI Keeps the Focus on the Bigger Picture</h2>
Egrag Crypto’s analysis centers on the difference between short-term price activity and long-term momentum. Four-hour and daily charts can produce frequent in-market direction, while a two-month RSI requires a much larger move before it changes significantly.
The current crossover does not determine <a href="https://timestabloid.com/ripple-ceo-on-how-xrp-price-could-rise/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP’s future price</a>. However, it places the asset in a technical zone XRP has reached only a limited number of times.
The previous occurrences provide historical context, while the current cycle will determine whether XRP follows the same pattern. For now, Egrag Crypto’s analysis keeps the two-month RSI and the 80 level at the center of the discussion around <a href="https://timestabloid.com/dom-kwok-answer-to-whether-xrp-price-will-gradually-increase-or-skyrocket-all-at-once/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP’s long-term momentum.</a>
