The conversation began when Zhao shared an artificial intelligence-generated image of himself. The picture depicted him lying in bed, rendered in green night vision tones, with a drowsy yet startled expression.
The image referenced a widely recognized internet meme format. It implied that market participants might be unprepared when cryptocurrency valuations begin their next ascent.
Zhao’s social media activity also reinforced a previous statement highlighting the strong fundamentals of BNB Chain. That earlier message emphasized the sustained potential of the BNB cryptocurrency.
Lee replied to Zhao’s content with a concise question. He asked, “Agree, do you own enough crypto?”

Lee has publicly stated his belief that the cryptocurrency sector has already entered a fresh bullish phase. He continues to stand by his long-term forecast of $150,000 for Bitcoin.

Tom Lee at Korea Blockchain Week 2026 outlines his reasons on why a crypto bull market is underway.
“Ethereum has been consolidating for 5 years” he adds. <a href="https://t.co/Xd8n0qZIqL" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">pic.twitter.com/Xd8n0qZIqL</a>

Additionally, he anticipates Ethereum will climb to $60,000 within the next few years. Lee has reiterated these price predictions consistently throughout recent months.
Meanwhile, Bitmine has maintained its commitment to acquiring Ethereum. The company purchased 17,362 ETH during the previous week.
This latest acquisition brought Bitmine’s cumulative Ethereum position beyond 6 million tokens. Based on present market valuations, this reserve exceeds $16 billion in value.
Bitmine has executed Ethereum purchases weekly without interruption since launching its treasury accumulation approach in June of the previous year. The company has maintained this discipline regardless of market volatility.
Digital asset prices experienced substantial recovery throughout September. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB all recorded monthly advances.
However, that upward movement decelerated recently. Rising Treasury yields applied downward pressure on cryptocurrency valuations.
Bitcoin declined approximately four percent during the preceding seven-day period but remains up more than seven percent for the month. Ethereum and BNB demonstrated comparable performance, declining weekly while maintaining monthly gains.
Bitmine’s equity also experienced weakness. The stock retreated modestly in extended trading and finished Tuesday’s standard session in negative territory.
Lee offered additional perspective on the cryptocurrency landscape during his appearance at Korea Blockchain Week. He suggested the approaching bull market may develop into the most substantial cycle on record.
He referenced cryptocurrency-related equities, which have outperformed during the third quarter. Lee interprets that performance as confirmation that a bull market has already commenced.
He also noted this cycle exhibits distinct characteristics compared to previous ones. Past cycles were propelled by ICOs, NFTs, meme tokens, and stablecoins.
For this cycle, Lee anticipates tokenization, artificial intelligence, and improved regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrency will serve as primary catalysts. He projects the market could experience a more significant breakout than previous cycles following an extended consolidation period.
