Wall Street's name is now attached to this network, and every chart is getting a second look. Here is the 4-hour chart read, using market data available on Sep 29, 2026.
Our editorial desk holds no personal position in AVAX. This is purely a chart and data read.

AVAX Price Today: Live Price, Volume, and Open Interest Data

AVAX is priced near $11.334 on the TradingView chart, and the CoinGlass card shows $11.322, up 8.98% over 24 hours.
Market cap sits at $4.98B. The chart is the Bybit perpetual contract (a futures contract with no expiry date), so it can differ slightly from spot prices.
Open interest (the total value of unsettled futures contracts) stands at $596.65M.
Futures volume over 24 hours is $1.03B against $196.06M in spot volume, so derivatives trading is more than five times spot activity. Circulating supply is 443.09M out of a 715.74M maximum, meaning about 62% of the maximum is already out.
That is the Avalanche price today in numbers. A big daily gain with leverage doing most of the trading is a setup where moves can reverse quickly.

Avalanche News Today: Goldman Sachs Treasury Fund Comes to AVAX

The official Avalanche account (@avax) posted on X about 13 hours before this update that Goldman Sachs is bringing its $100B flagship Treasury fund to the network.
The fund will be offered through Lynq, a private, permissioned Avalanche L1 used by more than 30 institutional digital asset firms, including B2C2, Wintermute, Galaxy, FalconX, and Fireblocks.
The stated goal is to let institutions earn yield on idle cash between trades without leaving the infrastructure they already use.
A private, permissioned chain is not the public network, and the post does not explain how directly this feeds demand for the AVAX token.
Even so, a $100B fund name attached to the ecosystem is a strong sentiment lift, and it likely helped drive the 24h jump. The announcement comes from the network's own account, so treat it as a company claim until more details follow.

Methodology: 4H timeframe, Bybit perpetual contract, a marked resistance zone, support levels, and the chart oscillator label. The bullish case needs a 4-hour close above $11.524, and the setup weakens on a 4-hour close below $10.520.
Price is sitting right under a wall. The $11.405 to $11.524 zone has stopped price almost three times, first around Sep 22 and again on later attempts. Today's candle tagged the top of the zone and slipped back. The oscillator reads 60.98. Back on Sep 22 the chart flagged a bearish divergence near the first rejection, and the price did slide back toward the $10 area afterward.
The Avalanche technical analysis turns on a single thing: a clean 4-hour close above the zone. If that happens, old resistance is likely to act as support, which makes the zone a flip zone. A retest from above that holds would be the strongest confirmation.
The projected paths on the chart give two routes for the Avalanche price forecast. In one, price breaks the zone, retests it as support, and then steps up through $13.194 toward $15.252. In the other, the fourth attempt fails, the price closes below $10.520, bounces briefly, and slides to $9.970.

AVAX Price Forecast: Bull, Base, and Bear Scenarios Explained

Bull case. AVAX closes four hours above $11.524 and holds the zone as support on the retest. That opens $13.194, about 16% higher, and then $15.252, about 35% higher. The Goldman Sachs headline gives buyers a reason to defend the breakout, but the chart still has to confirm it.
Base case. AVAX keeps bumping into the zone and pulling back, moving between $10.520 and $11.524. Another rejection would not break anything, but it would show sellers still control this level.
Bear case. A fourth rejection turns into a slide, and the price closes four hours below $10.520. That puts $9.970 in play, roughly 12% below today's price, and the rally on the news would be fully given back.

Derivatives trading is more than five times spot volume, so leverage flushes can hit price quickly.
The Goldman Sachs fund runs on a private, permissioned network, and its effect on the public token is unclear.
This zone has already rejected the price almost three times, so a repeat is possible. A 4-hour chart can flip within a day, and broader market swings can override any technical setup.
