<a href="https://www.thestreet.com/crypto/markets/meta-unveils-a-surprising-new-way-to-pay-creators-in-stablecoins" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Meta Platforms</a> (Nasdaq: META)&nbsp;co-founder and CEO&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thestreet.com/crypto/markets/mark-zuckerberg-eyes-another-billion-dollar-market" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Mark Zuckerberg</a><a href="https://x.com/finkd/status/2104550609403695581" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announced</a> on Sep. 28 that the tech giant&nbsp;is starting a new business called&nbsp;Meta Enterprise Platform, focused on selling artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enterprise customers.
Zuckerberg said the initial focus is on&nbsp;bringing the full tech stack, including the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code, etc., to customers.

Muse is Meta's&nbsp;AI agent&nbsp;designed to execute multi-step tasks across the internet and apps on the user's behalf.
It can&nbsp;answer questions, complete tasks, <a href="https://www.meta.com/help/2124746764949121/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">browse the web</a>, make purchases, generate images, create documents,&nbsp;set reminders, and track goals,&nbsp;Meta said.

Meta's latest business announcement comes only days after&nbsp;BlackRock <a href="https://www.thestreet.com/crypto/markets/blackrock-predicts-what-happens-once-ai-starts-shopping" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">made</a>&nbsp;a major prediction last week.
The Wall Street giant published a report titled "The Machine-Native Economy"&nbsp;in which it predicted that&nbsp;the rise of agentic AI could become an “underappreciated source of demand, utility, and application growth” for digital assets.
As AI agents begin transacting independently, they will need payment systems designed for machines rather than humans, the asset manager said.
“Agentic commerce requires machine-native payment rails,” BlackRock wrote, saying <a href="https://www.thestreet.com/crypto/explained/explained-what-is-a-stablecoin" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">stablecoins</a>, native cryptocurrencies, and other onchain assets could be used for payments and settlement.
Unlike volatile cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), a&nbsp;stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency that tries to stabilize its value by being pegged to a relatively stable asset.
Stablecoins pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar, such as USDT and USDC, have become extremely popular. Also called "digital dollars," these stablecoins make dollar transfers faster and cheaper.
BlackRock&nbsp;cited&nbsp;the Bitcoin Policy Institute's&nbsp;<a href="https://www.btcpolicy.org/articles/study-ai-models-overwhelmingly-prefer-bitcoin-and-digital-native-money-over-traditional-fiat" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">simulations </a>that&nbsp;AI models generally favored stablecoins for everyday payments and Bitcoin for long-term value preservation. But it cautioned that the findings reflected simulated responses rather than actual agent behavior.
