Bitget is restoring withdrawals on a per-asset basis following a hack that disrupted the exchange, with Bitcoin withdrawals confirmed open and Ethereum withdrawals scheduled to resume on September 29, according to the exchange.

BTC withdrawals are open; the restart is not platform-wide

Bitget confirmed that Bitcoin withdrawals are live again, as reported by CryptoSlate following the hack. The exchange is not treating the restart as a single switch-flip across all assets; each token is being brought back individually, meaning access to one asset does not imply access to others. For related coverage, see Bitcoin News Daily – September 27, 2026: XRP Setup & Coinbase IPO.

For users with BTC positions on Bitget, the on-chain liquidity path is now open. The THORChain decision not to block Bitget hack funds moving $387.5M to Bitcoin adds complexity to the broader settlement picture, but Bitget's own withdrawal channels for BTC are operational.
ETH withdrawals are scheduled for September 29

Ethereum withdrawals are listed as scheduled for September 29 in Bitget's staged rollout. The distinction matters: ETH is not yet available, only committed to a date. Users should verify actual availability directly through Bitget's status channels before attempting a withdrawal.
USDT and remaining assets: check individually

The headline references USDT availability but was truncated before the full detail was published. Given the asset-by-asset framework Bitget is using, USDT status, network selection, and timing should be treated as unconfirmed until Bitget publishes a specific update for that asset. Users holding stablecoin positions should not assume USDT follows the same schedule as ETH.
The staged approach carries a practical implication for anyone managing liquidity across multiple assets: each token requires its own status check. Bitget has not indicated a date for full platform-wide withdrawal restoration.
