Dogecoin

Bounce

Resistance

Dogecoin has spent the past two weeks climbing steadily, but the coin has now arrived at a point where the next few candles could decide whether that climb continues or stalls out completely.
A single rejection or a single breakout from here changes the entire near-term picture for DOGE.
Dogecoin launched in December 2013 as a lighthearted spinoff of the Litecoin codebase and has since grown into one of the most widely traded assets in the crypto market, carrying a large and active retail holder base.
This Dogecoin price prediction looks at where the coin stands today and what the charts say about its next move.
The Dogecoin price today is $0.08844, up 3.1% over the past 24 hours, with the token holding a market capitalization near $13.79 billion.
The 24-hour range has stayed tight between $0.08451 and $0.0896, showing the token is consolidating rather than making a sharp directional move just yet.

The 24-hour figures show shorts absorbing a larger share of the liquidation total at $1.60M against $892.05K in long losses, suggesting traders betting against $DOGE got caught out during the recent upward push.
The 4H window tells a slightly different story, with longs taking the bigger hit as price cooled off from its intraday high near $0.0900.

Trading activity remains heavily concentrated on the larger platforms. The official Dogecoin account reportedly credited the MyDoge team for sustained development work leading up to this release.
A wallet upgrade of this kind does not move price on its own, but it adds to the list of ecosystem developments that holders are watching alongside the current technical setup.

Dogecoin Price Prediction: Bullish Case If Trendline Holds

If DOGE tests the rising trendline and bounces, the setup favors a move back toward the $0.0894 resistance zone first.
A close above that level on rising volume would open the path to $0.09203, and a confirmed breakout there puts $0.09515 in range.
This scenario keeps the broader uptrend intact and would mark a new short-term high for the token.

Dogecoin Price Prediction: Bearish Case If Trendline Breaks

A close below the trendline changes the picture quickly. The first level to watch on the downside is $0.08615, and losing that support opens a path toward $0.08377.
A sustained breakdown through both levels would put the $0.08138 zone in play, erasing much of the recent gains built since mid-September.

Dogecoin vs Bitcoin

DOGE's price action has continued to track Bitcoin's broader trend over the past two weeks, with both assets grinding higher in tandem.
When Bitcoin holds its own support structure, altcoins like Dogecoin tend to get more room to test resistance rather than facing forced selling, which is part of why this trendline test carries added weight right now.

Methodology

This Dogecoin price prediction September 2026 is based on 4-hour candle data from Binance via TradingView, combined with live liquidation and volume data from CoinGlass and market data from CoinGecko.
Support and resistance levels are drawn from prior price reactions on the chart, and the RSI reading is used to gauge whether momentum supports the trendline holding or breaking.
No price target here should be treated as guaranteed; crypto markets can reverse quickly, and traders should manage risk accordingly.

Expert Opinion

Market analysts tracking DOGE's recent structure note that the coin's ability to hold above its rising trendline through several tests this month suggests buyers have consistently stepped in at each dip, a pattern that often precedes a decisive breakout attempt once resistance is finally challenged with volume.
