Official X post says Canary Capital filed Amendment No. 2 to its S-1 form. The filing went to the U.S. <a href="https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/2066353/000199937126020568/sei-s1a_091526.htm?utm_source=chatgpt.com" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Securities and Exchange Commission</a>. It covers a Staked service.

The fund will hold spot. That means it holds the real coin, not a contract that only tracks its price.
The new amendment also changes the staking plan a lot. Staking means locking coins to help run a network. The fund expects to stake about 90% of its altcoin. BitGo will be the only custodian, so it alone will hold the assets.

It didn't start with this filing. On September 10, it began offering its <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/tron-mainnet-voting-proposal-107-tvm-upgrade-trx-price-rally" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Tron TRX</a>&nbsp;Exchange Traded Funds and this follows as the next name.
The TRX fund hasn't drawn much action yet. Flow data, last updated Sep 19, 2026, shows this as of Sep 18:

Sep 15 was the only green day. Every other day showed zero activity. So will this coin&nbsp;do better? That's still an open question.

That came as memecoin funds expanded after Dogecoin's GDOG launch and BONK-related filings. This crypto ETF news shows it is moving beyond big names.

Staked SEI Exchange Traded Funds filing follows its TRX launch. The 90% staking plan and BitGo-only custody set it apart. Its price jumped 16.5% on the news. Still, the TRX fund shows a filing doesn't always bring inflows.
