This link aims to bridge tokenized financial products with the established infrastructure used by leading U.S. fund distributors and wealth platforms.

DTCC Fund/SERV integration brings traditional access

Oasis Pro Markets operates as a registered broker-dealer in the United States, facilitating compliance and market access for digital asset products. Through its Fund/SERV integration, Ondo Finance is now positioned to connect directly with U.S. mutual fund companies, platforms, and service providers.

DTCC stated that Fund/SERV processes over 85% of the nation’s mutual fund transaction volume. The integration offers standardized transaction processing, reconciliation, reporting, and distribution, streamlining access for tokenized funds without requiring individual technical integrations with each distributor.

This move allows tokenized products to flow into existing institutional fund workflows, potentially simplifying commercialization and broader market reach for digital asset-backed funds.

Operational boost for tokenized fund managers

A key challenge for fund managers issuing tokenized assets is ensuring operational compatibility with subscription, redemption, and distribution systems relied upon by traditional investors and distributors. Fund/SERV addresses this by providing a tested operational backbone, automating essential processes beyond blockchain settlement.

Talia Klein, head of DTCC’s Asset Management and Fund Services Business Development, remarked that Ondo’s participation marks another step in demonstrating how existing financial infrastructure can underpin emerging digital asset markets. Klein emphasized the importance of interoperability between traditional and blockchain-based finance.

“This participation demonstrates how longstanding financial infrastructure can support new models built on digital assets, showing that operational connectivity is as important as blockchain technology itself for the evolution of markets.”

By tapping into this infrastructure, Ondo aims to scale its reach to a broader network of wealth managers and institutional clients familiar with DTCC-linked funds.

Building on growing tokenized asset activity

Ondo Finance recently reported that its Ondo Stocks platform surpassed $1 billion in total value locked (TVL) in May, covering over 260 tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds. The company also offers other digital financial products, including USDY and OUSG, to allow onchain exposure to U.S. Treasury-linked assets. Its platform currently reports approximately $1.04 billion in TVL for Ondo Stocks and $2.23 billion for USDY.

At the time of the latest update, the ONDO token traded around $0.327, according to CoinMarketCap’s ONDO-USDT dataset, reflecting a slight decline of 0.12% over the previous 24 hours. While this price change sets market context, it does not signify direct adoption or usage of Ondo’s fund tokenization services.

Notably, the Fund/SERV integration announced by Ondo through Oasis Pro Markets does not directly alter the utility or value proposition of the ONDO token itself. The primary focus is on infrastructure improvements for asset managers and distributors. Further launches or expanded participation among distributors could indicate real-world traction resulting from this integration.

Participation in Fund/SERV marks a significant step for tokenized funds, aligning them with the same infrastructure used across the U.S. fund industry and potentially enabling seamless distribution to established market players.
