This marked the first time Zcash traded above $1,000. The move followed strong gains during the previous trading session. On September 3, ZEC reached an intraday high near $979. ZEC gained nearly 17% during that September 3 session. The broader performance looks even stronger across longer timeframes. ZEC has gained more than 88% during the past 30 days.</p><p>Over six months, Zcash has climbed roughly 353% against the dollar. Grayscale’s ETF launch provided a major catalyst for the latest advance. The asset manager listed <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/ZCSH/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ZCSH on NYSE Arca</a> on August 25. The launch created a new U.S. investment route for Zcash exposure. Traders quickly connected the listing with ZEC’s accelerating price action. Crypto Banter also highlighted the move after ZEC crossed $1,000.</p><p>The account linked the rally partly to growing interest in privacy. Zcash offers shielded transfers powered by zero-knowledge <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptography" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptography</a>. This technology allows users to protect transaction details across the network. Privacy has become a stronger theme as blockchain surveillance expands. Some traders now view Zcash as a potential hedge against transaction monitoring. Network hashrate reached 27.9 GSol/s on August 28. Current hashrate remains around 91% of that record level. Such activity suggests miners continue seeing attractive ZEC economics. Bitmain’s Antminer Z15 Pro currently ranks among the most profitable ASIC miners. The machine reportedly generates about $59.09 daily at current ZEC prices.</p><p>The older Antminer Z15 also remains profitable under current market conditions. The Z15 reportedly generates around $29.25 each day. Both machines have sold out through Bitmain’s website. Resellers now list the Z15 Pro above the $4,999 official price. Rising demand reflects growing interest in Zcash mining hardware. Mining profitability can influence network participation over time.</p><p>More profitable machines can encourage additional computing power across the network. ZEC’s derivatives market has also expanded alongside the spot rally. Futures volume recently jumped 113.64% to roughly $6.38 billion. Open interest increased 34.97% to approximately $2.16 billion. Spot trading volume reached around $594.6 million across 24 hours.</p>
