US spot $XRP ETFs posted their strongest three-day run since launch, drawing more than $45 million in net inflows and generating over $200 million in combined trading volume across the sessions ending August 24. The broader week was also notable: spot XRP ETFs recorded their best performance since May, gaining $39.78 million as the token climbed to a seven-month high following months of stagnant demand, according to data reported by Wu Blockchain on August 24.

Bitwise led Monday's inflows with $8.25 million out of the $13.82 million total for the day. Teddy Fusaro, President of Bitwise Asset Management, noted that the fund's trading volume surpassed $80 million on the final day of the streak, following two consecutive sessions that each topped $60 million. Fusaro described it as the fund's busiest stretch since launch.

Volume vs. Inflows: An Important Distinction

Fusaro was careful to clarify that the volume figures represent shares exchanging hands on the open market rather than new money entering the fund. Trading volume and net inflows measure different things: volume reflects secondary market activity, while inflows indicate fresh capital entering the product.

As of August 23, the Bitwise XRP ETF held approximately 328.2 million XRP, valued at $484.6 million, with net assets of $484.5 million. The fund carries a 0.34% expense ratio and has roughly 29.38 million shares outstanding.

The XRP ETF market remains comparatively early stage. For the week ending August 21, spot XRP ETFs gathered $39.78 million compared with $1.918 billion for Bitcoin ETFs and $697 million for Ethereum ETFs. Analysts note that XRP inflows are currently led by just two of five providers, suggesting a fund category still building investor familiarity. As of August 25, seven XRP spot ETFs are trading in the US with combined assets under management of $1 billion and approximately 1 billion XRP tokens held in custody.
