No fresh catalyst is behind this move. Thin market depth made the sell-off easier to trigger. Trading volume stayed low throughout the entire slide. Broader altcoin weakness added extra pressure on top. Capital rotation into smaller coins remains subdued right now.

Why is FOLD Price Down Today?

The Interfold fell 14.5% today, with the price now at $0.1029. Market cap slipped to $33.41 million during the drop. Volume stayed elevated at $48.548 million as profit-taking hit hard.

This pullback follows an explosive prior rally. FOLD surged 300% over four days after its Upbit listing. Traders are now cashing in those gains fast. Bitcoin dominance ticking higher added rotation pressure too. The Altcoin Season Index has been cooling off in parallel.

Why is CROSS Price Down Today?

CROSS slid 3.4% today, now priced at $0.1106. Market cap dropped to $54.483 million on the move. Volume plunged to $1.792 million, well below recent averages.

Thin liquidity looks like the main driver here. Trading interest stayed muted throughout the entire session. That combination amplified the token's downward drift today. CROSS also underperformed a Bitcoin market that stayed slightly positive. Capital rotation into smaller tokens remains limited across the board.

CoinGabbar Analysis

Today's split comes down to fresh news versus fatigue. Pons, Aave, and Ethena all had real catalysts behind their gains. Robinhood Chain's growth, Aave's deposit milestones, and Ethena's institutional deals all mattered.
Losers show the opposite pattern clearly. Talus, FOLD, and CROSS all lacked a fresh push higher. FOLD's drop even followed its own outsized rally days earlier.
This split matters for anyone scanning top altcoins today. Even in a strong crypto market today, thin liquidity punishes tokens fast. Utility-backed gainers are holding up far better than momentum-only plays.

Conclusion

Today's crypto gainers and losers highlight a market rewarding real utility. Pons, Aave, and Ethena climbed on genuine ecosystem and institutional news. Talus, The Interfold, and CROSS fell on thin liquidity and profit-taking instead. Watch Robinhood Chain's growth and Aave's deposit trends in the coming days. Fresh catalysts will likely keep driving these sharp daily moves.
