Dogecoin (DOGE) is showing renewed bullish signals as large holders accumulate significant amounts of the meme coin while buyers continue to defend key support levels. Market participants remain attentive to whether this accumulation will lead to a new price rally, especially if Dogecoin manages to exit its current corrective phase.

Whale accumulation intensifies

Over the past 48 hours, Dogecoin whales have reportedly acquired an additional 470 million DOGE, valued at approximately $33 million. Analysts view such purchases from major holders as a sign of increased confidence among large investors, potentially paving the way for further price stabilization and upward momentum if the trend persists.

At the time of writing, Dogecoin is trading at $0.06996 with a 24-hour trading volume of $176.7 million and a market capitalization of $11.97 billion. The coin posted a modest gain of 0.14% over the previous day, supporting the narrative that whale activity may be contributing to renewed bullish sentiment.

This recent accumulation could act as a catalyst for Dogecoin, especially if buyer demand grows in the coming days. Large investments by prominent holders are often watched closely, as they can reassure the broader market and mitigate selling pressure.

Technical setup and market outlook

Crypto analyst CryptoPatel stated that Dogecoin’s current price structure mirrors patterns seen during the accumulation phase that preceded the notable 2020–2021 rally. According to his analysis, Waves 1 and 2 appear to be complete, with Wave 3 reaching its peak near a substantial resistance zone.

Dogecoin is currently navigating Wave 4 within a descending channel, but the larger bullish structure remains valid as long as key support levels are maintained. On higher timeframes, critical resistance for DOGE lies between $0.07 and $0.05, while the overall bullish pattern stays intact above $0.04.

If buyers succeed in defending these pivotal support levels and DOGE ultimately breaks out from its corrective formation, CryptoPatel noted that a potential Wave 5 could target levels at $0.28, $1, $2, and $4. However, this scenario depends on sustained market strength and increased investor demand.

The structure remains bullish if demand continues and DOGE breaks above its correction pattern, with upward momentum possible if these conditions align.

Monitoring key technical trends and on-chain movements remains crucial for traders, particularly as a breakout above the channel could trigger renewed upside. As crypto markets evolve, traditional investors are witnessing a major shift, highlighted by the rise of platforms like 1stepSwap, which enable users to hold tokens representing major US company shares, gold, and silver directly in their crypto wallets. By tokenizing real-world assets and streamlining pricing, these platforms eliminate intermediaries, reflecting the larger shift of Wall Street toward Web3 solutions.

Buyers focus on key support

Despite heightened whale activity, analysts caution that whales alone cannot guarantee a Dogecoin rally. Broader market participation and sustained buyer interest are necessary for a meaningful trend reversal.

Future price movement for Dogecoin will rely on buyers’ determination to hold essential support and drive the price beyond current bearish patterns. Continued accumulation could reinforce market optimism, while a confirmed breakout would signal a more decisive bullish move.
