A thousand dollars split across four major cryptocurrencies in August 2020 would tell four very different stories today. XRP rose from $0.26 to $1.04, a +301% gain (4.0x), turning $1,000 into $4,010.Barron also compared these figures to the S&amp;P 500. The index moved from about 3,295 to around 7,700 over the same period, a gain of +133.7% (2.34x). A $1,000 investment there grows to $2,337.
