XRP is approaching a level that crypto enthusiast Gina considers particularly important, given how the asset behaved in previous market cycles.
Offering her insight in a tweet, Gina pointed to a recurring 50% level on XRP’s weekly chart and suggested that the current market structure resembles a pattern seen between 2021 and 2023. Her analysis focuses on price history rather than XRP’s potential role in the financial system.

From 2021-2023: the bottom happened at 50% of the range.
2024-2026: XRP just reached 50% of the range.
XRP doesn't need to become the next bank transaction layer to perform.
It just needs attention.
This is it. pic.twitter.com/iXfQA7bn4x

Gina Identifies the 50% Range Level

According to Gina, XRP reached the 50% midpoint of its trading range during 2021/2023, before a bottom and eventually moving higher. Her chart compares that historical structure with XRP’s price action from 2024 through 2026.
The chart marks the earlier 50% level around the $0.50 region. XRP spent an extended period moving around that area before eventually breaking higher toward the 2021 highs. Gina now points to a similar 50% level in the more recent structure, with the chart placing the current midpoint around the $1.20 region.
Gina’s comparison suggests that XRP may be approaching a stage similar to the earlier cycle. The chart illustrates a prolonged decline followed by consolidation and a potential bottoming formation before projecting a recovery toward previous highs and beyond.

“XRP Doesn’t Need to Become the Next Bank Transaction Layer”

Gina also addressed a common part of the XRP investment narrative. Rather than focusing on whether XRP becomes widely used as a banking transaction layer, she stated that the asset “doesn’t need to become the next bank transaction layer to perform.”
She instead suggested that XRP needs market interest to support further price movement.

Her comment places greater emphasis on market participation and price behavior than on XRP’s adoption for institutional payments. The attached chart supports that approach by concentrating almost entirely on historical price ranges, support levels, and potential future movement.

The bullish interpretation received a cautious response from some users. Valentijn noted that XRP was trading below $1.05 and suggested that former support had become resistance. He identified the $1.03–$1.04 area as an active battleground and predicted that XRP could soon trade below $1.
Another commenter, Punisher Mann, took a more dismissive position toward price predictions. He toldXRP holders to stop making people anxious about the timing of a move, stating that the asset will rise when it’s ready.
