BUILDon

Why Is BUILDon Coin Rebranding to BUILDON GALAXY?

BUILDon's official X account recently posted. The project is rebranding to BUILDON GALAXY, a move it says reflects a broader mission of building out the entire USD1 ecosystem alongside rather than staying limited to one function. For anyone tracking BUILDon coin, this announcement is a good moment to step back and look at what the memecoin actually is, what it has built so far, and where it's headed.

Key Takeaways

It is rebranding to BUILDON GALAXY and has introduced a new cross-chain fundraising platform for projects.

The ecosystem runs on two tokens, $B and $USD1, both live on BNB Chain with public contract addresses.

A cross-chain buying tool called B Purchase is already live in beta, letting users pay in stablecoins and receive tokens on another chain in one transaction.

What Is BUILDon Coin?

It positions itself as the first project to treat USD1 not as a marketing narrative but as an actual mission: turning it into a living, liquid, and usable on-chain asset rather than just a meme.
According to the project's own materials, its stated goal is to build real USD1 and WLFI use cases and liquidity across ecosystems. By moving from single-chain activity to an omnichain footprint. This is why the token is often discussed alongside the wider USD1 crypto movement rather than as a standalone meme play.

The BUILDON Rebrand: From BuildOn to BUILDON GALAXY

On X account, the team said the new name reflects a wider scope of work across the entire USD1 landscape, no longer tied to a single track. Alongside the name change, it unveiled its Launchpad product and pointed followers to an updated website. To mark the shift, the project also ran a short giveaway.

$B Token and $USD1 Token: Contract Details

Two tokens sit at the center of the ecosystem. The BUILDDON GALAXY token, referred to as $B. It is described as going "beyond meme," while $USD1 is the asset on which the whole project is built. Both are deployed on BNB Chain.

As the project's primary token, $B is what most exchanges and trackers will list alongside $USD1. So always verify contract addresses directly from its official channels before interacting with either one.

BUILDon Launchpad: A Multi-Chain Launchpad for USD1

It's pitched as a real use case tied to a USD1 utility rather than a bolt-on feature. The project describes it as a gateway for entrepreneurs to raise capital while giving $USD1 and $B holders early access and rewards. As a crypto launchpad, it's built around four pillars:

Project Vetting – background checks through audit reports and security analysis.

Multi-Chain Support – compatibility with BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Base.

Multi-Mode Fundraising – IDO, IEO, INO, SHO, and Fair Launch formats, with FCFS, whitelist, lottery, and staking-based allocation models.

Promotion Support – banner placement, social campaigns, KOL partnerships, and AMAs for listed projects.

That combination is what makes it a multi-chain launchpad rather than a single-network tool, at least on paper. The actual project flow and volume will be the real test once it's fully live.

B Purchase: Cross-Chain Buying in One Step

Separate from the Launchpad, it runs a feature called B Purchase, currently in beta. It lets a user pay with a stablecoin on one supported chain and receive a different token on another chain in a single transaction, skipping the usual bridging steps.
The project lists four core selling points for it: no gas needed on the destination chain, live pricing with fast execution, support for any stablecoin into any listed token, and a one-transaction flow with no manual bridging.

Milestones and Track Record

BUILDon's own page lists several firsts it claims within the USD1 space: being the first meme project @worldlibertyfi invested in, the first meme project to launch a USD1 trading pair, the first USD1 pair listed on centralized exchanges, and the highest trading volume recorded on a USD1 pair. It also points to a cohosted campaign with WLFI that reportedly hit 29.91B in total USD1 trading volume. These are self-reported figures from the project, so treat them as claims to verify rather than confirmed facts.

CoinGabbar Analysis

Judged only on what the website has published, the project has moved from a single-purpose meme token toward a small suite of products. Launchpad, B Purchase, and the GALAXY rebrand — all tied to the USD1 ecosystem. That's a more ambitious roadmap than most meme-adjacent tokens attempt, and the milestone list suggests early traction with the WLFI community specifically.
That said, most of what's public right now comes from its own social account and website rather than independent audits or third-party data. The Launchpad itself is still described as "coming" rather than fully operational. Anyone researching BUILDon coin should weigh the ambition of the roadmap against how little of it has been independently verified so far.

Conclusion

The shift to BUILDON GALAXY isn't just a name change. It comes bundled with a Launchpad, a cross-chain purchase tool, and a clearer pitch around USD1 as real infrastructure rather than hype. Whether BUILDon coin turns that roadmap into sustained activity will depend on how the Launchpad performs once it's fully live and how much of its milestone data holds up to outside scrutiny. For now, it's a project worth tracking rather than a finished product to take at face value.
