Cardano price jumped nearly 10% to around $0.184 as traders reacted to Cardano’s next development phase. The move followed the van Rossem upgrade and renewed focus on the Dijkstra era. ADA still trades far below its 2021 peak, but analysts now see early signs of higher-timeframe accumulation.

Cardano price gained momentum after Intersect confirmed planning for the Dijkstra era. This phase will follow the van Rossem hard fork, which improved Plutus performance, ledger consistency, and node security.

The next roadmap focuses on Nested Transactions, Linear Leios, and Peras. These upgrades aim to boost throughput while keeping decentralization and security intact.
Notably, the Haskell node team targets mainnet delivery for Nested Transactions and Linear Leios by late 2026. That timeline gives traders a visible milestone, though execution risk remains.
Cardano price is now reacting more to what may ship next than what has already shipped. Researcher Dr. Cuadrado said Dijkstra should support higher transaction volumes and more advanced on-chain applications.

Meanwhile, market analysts are watching ADA’s long-term structure. Javon Marks said ADA displays similarities to the 2020 to 2021 setup and pointed to a possible move toward $2.90.

Crypto Patel described the current chart as a macro accumulation setup. The analyst noted that ADA has corrected nearly 96% from its record high and returned to a historical demand zone.
The key demand area sits between $0.150 and $0.086. Cardano price has reclaimed the upper boundary, while $0.2887 stands as the next bullish trigger.
A stronger reversal signal would require a move above $0.50. On the downside, a two-week close below $0.08 would weaken the structure. Additional catalysts include Leios scaling, Midnight ecosystem growth, ETF discussions, and more than 60% of ADA supply staked.
