However, the token had reached a major resistance area after several weeks of gains.UNI price also formed a mild bearish divergence with the Relative Strength Index. This was particularly evident in the Uniswap V4 DEX volume which registered a significant uptick in July.For reference, July just registered the highest <a href="https://defillama.com/protocol/uniswap?dexVolume=true&amp;events=false&amp;groupBy=monthly" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DEX volume</a> that the Uniswap network has achieved in the last 5 months. Interestingly, Uniswap V3 was second with about $4.5 billion worth of weekly volume, highlighting the Uniswap ecosystem’s dominance.Uniswap’s DEX dominance and recovering monthly volumes signal that Q3 has already kicked off with recovering volumes. The protocol previously experienced a steady decline from highs achieved in October last year.<h2 id="h-robinhood-plays-critical-role-in-surging-uniswap-volumes" class="wp-block-heading">Robinhood Plays Critical Role In Surging Uniswap Volumes</h2>Analysts have been keeping an eye on how the <a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2026/07/20/uniswap-eyes-wider-uni-burn-after-robinhood-chain-hits-6b-volume/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Robinhood Chain</a> has been influencing the crypto landscape since its launch. Uniswap has been acting as Robinhood’s main automated market maker since the chain’s mainnet rollout at the start of July.Prior to its push into blockchain, Robinhood was previously a top retail trading platform for stocks. Especially if it can sustain robust volumes as observed recently.If so, this robust activity may fuel the demand that Uniswap needs to sustain healthy momentum. Note that the Uniswap crypto was still heavily discounted compared to its historic highs.Furthermore, this latest UNI crypto price action occurred even as the market struggled with low liquidity.
