Solana-based memecoin $TROLL climbed 17% on July 27 over a 24-hour period, with intraday gains reaching as high as 30% as buying activity accelerated, according to CoinGecko data. The token also posted trading volumes well above many of its Solana peers, pointing to a concentrated burst of short-term speculative interest.
At the time of writing, TROLL carried a market capitalisation of approximately $48 million. The token is a memecoin inspired by internet trolling culture, designed for entertainment and community engagement with no intrinsic value. Built on Solana, it leverages the network's fast transactions and low fees, and aims to build momentum through social media, influencer partnerships, and viral marketing.
The project ties itself to the iconic trollface image, claiming licensed rights to the drawing, and has accumulated roughly 56,000 on-chain holders. It has also secured a listing on Binance Alpha.

The move comes against a backdrop of rising memecoin activity across the Solana network. Data from SolanaFloor shows memecoins became the largest sector by daily spot decentralised exchange volume on Solana for the first time since July 2025, making up 30% of daily spot volume as of July 23, 2026, edging past stablecoin swaps. Reports also point to 62,000 dormant wallets becoming active, with memecoins pulling in $2 billion in trading volume recently.
No protocol upgrade or partnership announcement has accompanied TROLL's recent price activity, with rallies appearing driven entirely by speculative demand within Solana's memecoin ecosystem. That dynamic makes the token highly sensitive to shifts in sentiment. As with all community-driven memecoins, prices can reverse as quickly as they rise, and the token carries no utility or fundamental backing beyond its community and cultural identity.
