Crypto commentator Digital Asset Investor has highlighted a noticeable shift in XRP wallet activity, suggesting that large holders accumulate the digital asset as smaller investors reduce their positions. He believes the latest on-chain data aligns with XRP’s improving market outlook and could support further price appreciation.
In his latest YouTube video titled “XRP Whales Activated,” Digital Asset Investor pointed to the Crypto Fear and Greed Index climbing to 33, moving out of extreme fear territory. He linked the improvement in market sentiment to reports that former U.S. President Donald Trump was willing to accept changes sought by Democrats on the ethics provisions of the CLARITY Act.
The commentator then focused on data from Santiment Intelligence, which showed that wallets holding between 100,000 and 100 million XRP increased their holdings by 2.8% over the past five weeks. During the same period, smaller wallets reduced their XRP balances by 5.2%.
Digital Asset Investor suggested this contrast reflects a familiar market pattern in which larger investors continue accumulating while retail participants sell. He added that his own investment approach has mirrored the actions of these larger XRP holders.

Institutional Growth and Utility Remain Key Themes

Beyond wallet activity, Digital Asset Investor said XRP’s market narrative has continued to strengthen through several developments. He pointed to expanding institutional access through XRP exchange-traded fund products, the conclusion of Ripple’s long-running legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the growing use of the XRP Ledger for payments, tokenization, and Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin.
He also referenced reports that Franklin Templeton clients purchased $5.66 million worth of XRP, describing it as another sign that institutional participation could continue increasing.
The video also highlighted comments from crypto community member Smoke, who noted that XRP would need to rise roughly 20 times from its current valuation to match Bitcoin’s market capitalization.
Smoke suggested such an outcome could become possible if institutional adoption accelerates, regulatory clarity encourages additional investment, XRP’s real-world utility continues expanding, and capital gradually rotates from Bitcoin into the broader altcoin market.

Regulatory Changes Could Shift Capital Toward XRP

Digital Asset Investor expanded on that view by arguing that Bitcoin has benefited from what he described as a long-standing regulatory advantage. In his opinion, regulatory clarity could significantly change the competitive landscape by recognizing additional digital assets as commodities rather than leaving Bitcoin in a uniquely favorable position.
He said this shift would likely encourage investors to diversify capital across multiple digital assets instead of concentrating primarily on Bitcoin. XRP, he believes, stands to benefit from that transition because of its established utility, institutional adoption efforts, and limited supply dynamics.
Closing the discussion, Digital Asset Investor said a 20-fold increase in XRP’s value is achievable once utility, regulatory clarity, and continued institutional participation are fully reflected in the market. He maintained that these factors, combined with ongoing whale accumulation, present a favorable outlook for the asset’s long-term performance.
