Strong network usage has renewed attention around UNI, especially with governance preparing two important proposals. Both votes could increase protocol revenue while removing more UNI from circulation. Both plans focus on expanding protocol fees across several blockchain networks. Higher fee collection could also increase the amount of UNI permanently removed from circulation. The first proposal activates protocol fees on selected Uniswap v4 pools. Supported networks include Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Optimism, and Robinhood Chain. Community members will decide whether v4 begins collecting fees for the first time.</p><p>A second proposal came from <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/haydenadams" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Uniswap founder Hayden Adams</a>. That measure enables protocol fees across v2 and v3 deployments on Robinhood Chain. Uniswap launched every major protocol version when Robinhood Chain debuted on July 1. Early adoption has already impressed many market observers. Robinhood Chain reached more than $6 billion in cumulative swap volume by July 10. Such rapid growth highlights strong demand for decentralized trading on the new Layer 2 network.</p><p><a href="https://x.com/CryptosBatman" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto analyst BATMAN</a> also pointed toward growing momentum. According to the analyst, Uniswap remains the leading automated market maker on Robinhood Chain. Higher trading activity generates more protocol revenue over time. The analyst also identified a technical breakout and described any retest as an attractive buying opportunity. Collected fees enter Uniswap's TokenJar system instead of remaining idle. Previous releases relied on fixed fee tiers across liquidity pools. Version 4 supports hooks and dynamic fees that adjust according to market conditions. Governance also introduced new infrastructure for fee management. The V4FeePolicy contract calculates applicable fees across pool families.</p><p>Meanwhile, the V4FeeAdapter applies governance decisions throughout supported pools. Another governance proposal covering five additional blockchain networks should arrive later. UNI already benefits from an active burn program. Community members approved the UNIfication proposal during December 2025 with overwhelming support.</p><p>That decision activated Ethereum protocol fees and destroyed 100 million UNI from treasury reserves. Expansion continued throughout recent months. Fee collection now operates across 11 blockchain networks. Last month alone, Uniswap burned a record 186,000 UNI within a single day.</p>
