What Upbit Announced About the GAS Airdrop Payment

The notice posted on Upbit's official service center confirms that the exchange is processing GAS airdrop payments for the second week of July. GAS is the utility token of the Neo blockchain, generated automatically by holding NEO tokens. For related coverage, see Upbit Announces GAS Airdrop Payment for First Week of July.

Upbit distributes GAS to users who hold NEO in their exchange wallets on a recurring weekly basis. This latest update follows the exchange's GAS airdrop payment notice for the first week of July, continuing a consistent distribution pattern. For related coverage, see Upbit GAS Airdrop Payment Notice for Early June.

The exchange has maintained this schedule throughout the year, with a similar GAS airdrop payment notice issued in early June following the same format.
Payment Timing and What Eligible Users Should Watch

The notice concerns the distribution of GAS tokens already earned, not the launch of a new airdrop program. Users who held NEO on Upbit during the relevant snapshot period are the intended recipients.

Eligible users should check their Upbit account balances for credited GAS tokens. Exact credit timing within the announced window may vary, and Upbit typically processes distributions in batches, so credits may not arrive simultaneously for all users.

For the most current processing status, users can refer directly to Upbit's GAS token market data to track the asset, while the original notice page provides updates on distribution progress.

Why the Notice Matters for Upbit Users and GAS Holders

Exchange-posted airdrop notices serve as the primary source of operational guidance for users awaiting token distributions. Without these notices, users would have limited visibility into when and how earned tokens are credited.

For NEO holders on Upbit, these weekly GAS distribution updates provide transparency into the settlement process. The exchange also continues to expand its platform offerings, recently adding Zenshin (AI) to its KRW, BTC, and USDT markets.

Users holding NEO on Upbit should monitor their accounts for incoming GAS credits during the stated distribution window. Those tracking broader exchange activity can also review how platforms like Binance handle their own service notices for comparison.
