Orbaic ACI Testnet Live: Price Outlook, Roadmap and Tokenomics Update
A project that has spent years promising a working blockchain just crossed a real milestone. Orbaic ACI testnet is now live, giving anyone with an EVM wallet a way to actually touch the network for the first time.
The announcement came with network details, a working faucet, and a KYC requirement tied to future migration.
For a token that has existed mostly as a mobile mining app and a whitepaper since 2023, this is the first tangible piece of infrastructure the community can test directly.

What Does the Orbaic ACI Testnet Launch Actually Include?

The test-net runs as an EVM-compatible network under the name ORBAIC Testnet, with its own RPC endpoint, chain ID 88231, and a block explorer for tracking activity.
Anyone using MetaMask, Binance Wallet, Trust Wallet, OKX Wallet, or Bitget Wallet can connect directly.
A public faucet lets users claim 1 $ACI per request, capped at three claims every 24 hours.
That is a modest but functional setup, closer to a genuine developer testnet than a marketing gimmick, since it includes the standard pieces, RPC, explorer, and faucet, that real Layer 1 launches typically ship with.
For a project whose only prior product was a mobile mining app built around quizzes and referrals, this is a meaningfully more technical step, even if it remains firmly in the testing phase rather than a live mainnet.

Why Does KYC Matter for Orbaic ACI Testnet Participants?

The project has made one requirement explicit: tokens claimed during the test-net without completing KYC will not carry over once the network migrates to mainnet.
That ties the free faucet claims directly to identity verification, not just wallet activity.
This kind of structure is common among projects trying to prevent bot farming of test-net rewards, but it also means casual users who skip verification are effectively mining tokens that may never translate into anything on the live network.
Anyone treating the current faucet claims as a real allocation should treat KYC completion as a prerequisite, not an afterthought, given how directly the project has tied the two together.

What Do the Orbaic ACI Roadmap Phases Show So Far?

Orbaic's roadmap lists four development phases, and as of this update, all four are marked complete.
Phase 1 covered the whitepaper and mining app; Phase 2 covered the testnet and wallet; Phase 3 covered mainnet and DeFi; and Phase 4 covers listing, partnerships, and AI.

Every phase timer already reads 100 percent, including the final one covering exchange listing.

Why Does the Roadmap Status Not Match Mainnet Reality?

Yet the testnet only went live this month; no mainnet exists, and no exchange listing has occurred, despite Phase 4 already showing complete. The project's own site currently describes itself as being in Phase 4 development, even while every phase timer shows 100 percent.
That gap between the status labels and the actual product state is worth noting. It suggests the roadmap tracks elapsed calendar time against original estimates rather than confirming that each milestone was actually delivered on schedule.
The testnet launch itself is a real deliverable, but the mismatch is a useful reminder to treat roadmap percentages as time-based estimates rather than verified progress reports.

What Does Orbaic ACI Tokenomics Reveal About Token Supply?

Orbaic's whitepaper is unusually open about one thing: the numbers are not finalized. The total token supply and circulating volume for ACI are both listed as still to be announced, with the team stating that final figures will be shared closer to the token's broader rollout.

Why Is Orbaic ACI Tokenomics Still Incomplete?

The whitepaper describes these categories qualitatively without publishing exact percentages.
Anyone modeling a fully diluted valuation for the token right now is working without the two inputs that matter most, a fixed supply number and a confirmed allocation split.
Until that data is published, tokenomics-based price modeling for ACI stays speculative by design, not by choice. That is a separate issue from the market speculation, since it comes straight from the project's own disclosure gap rather than trader sentiment.

What Is the Orbaic ACI Price Outlook Ahead of Mainnet Launch?

The token has no exchange listing and no live trading price, so any Orbaic ACI price prediction at this point is a scenario exercise built on testnet adoption rather than chart data.
In a weaker outcome, testnet activity stays limited to a small group of early miners, and the eventual mainnet launch struggles to generate liquidity or exchange interest given the project's multi-year gap between announcements and delivery.
In a stronger outcome, the testnet draws enough developer attention and KYC-verified participants that the project enters mainnet with a functioning user base already in place, giving early exchange conversations more to point to than a whitepaper alone.
No exchange has been named for ACI as of this update, and any listing talk circulating online should be treated as community speculation rather than confirmed news.

Expert Opinion

Analysts covering early-stage Layer 1 projects note that a live, EVM-compatible testnet with a working faucet and explorer is a genuine step up from whitepaper-only projects.
That holds true even when the broader timeline has slipped for years and the roadmap shows every phase complete while core deliverables like mainnet and tokenomics disclosure remain outstanding.
The more relevant question for the project going forward is whether testnet activity converts into real developer usage before mainnet, and whether the team publishes a finalized supply and allocation model, since those are typically what separate projects that attract exchange interest from those that stay stuck in perpetual testing phases.

Token supply and allocation figures remain undetermined as per the project's own whitepaper. Early-stage crypto projects carry significant risk, including the possibility of delays or total loss of capital. Always conduct independent research before making any investment decision.
