With this latest purchase, Metaplanet's treasury now holds 43,000 BTC.
The updated total reflects consistent buying across multiple quarters rather than a single large acquisition. Each purchase has incrementally built one of the most concentrated Bitcoin treasuries among publicly traded companies worldwide.

Why the Treasury Move Matters

Corporate Bitcoin treasury strategies have drawn increasing attention from institutional investors tracking balance sheet exposure to digital assets. Metaplanet's accumulation pace signals continued confidence in Bitcoin as a long-term reserve holding.

The firm recently addressed shareholders at the Japan Bitcoin Future Forum, outlining its rationale for the Bitcoin-centric treasury approach.
At 43,000 BTC, Metaplanet now holds one of the largest corporate Bitcoin positions globally, trailing only a handful of companies including MicroStrategy.
