Ripple USD

D'CENT Wallet now integrates Squid — the leading cross-chain swap layer — directly inside the app. Swap assets from 100+ blockchains into the XRP ecosystem in a single transaction, including direct swaps into Ripple USD (RLUSD), all without leaving your self-custody wallet.

Squid is a cross-chain platform connecting networks, liquidity sources, and applications to power the seamless movement of digital assets across crypto. Its app can buy, swap, bridge, and send 20k+ tokens across 100+ chains, tapping into 130+ liquidity sources in a single transaction — and it lets users move or swap XRP across 80+ chains. Today, Squid is trusted by 1,000+ integrators.
With this integration, D'CENT joins 1,000+ projects going cross-chain with Squid — and adds support for 100+ chains right inside the wallet.
D'CENT, built by IoTrust, is Korea's only hardware wallet and the world's first biometric hardware wallet. Since launch in 2018, the device has carried a zero remote key-extraction breach record, anchored by a CC EAL5+ certified secure element.
This integration removes one of the oldest friction points in crypto: moving value between chains. Bridging, wrapping, and chasing liquidity across multiple apps has always been slow, confusing, and risky. With Squid built into D'CENT, cross-chain swaps happen inside the wallet — one transaction, best-available route, and the result delivered straight to your self-custody address.

🛡️ Why Use Squid Inside D'CENT?

One-transaction cross-chain swaps: Squid sources the fastest, most capital-efficient route across on- and off-chain liquidity — no manual bridging, wrapping, or multi-step routing.

Reach the whole XRP ecosystem: Bring assets from EVM chains, Solana, and beyond into XRP and RLUSD without leaving the app.

Reduced phishing risk: Skip look-alike bridge and swap sites by completing the entire flow inside D'CENT.

Hardware-backed confirmation: When paired with a D'CENT Biometric Wallet, every outgoing transaction is reviewed and signed on the device — never on a screen alone.

Self-custody by default: Swapped assets land in your D'CENT wallet, not in a third-party custodial account.

The headline of this integration is Ripple USD (RLUSD). Squid is now live as the cross-chain swap and transfer layer for RLUSD, and that capability is available to you directly inside D'CENT.
RLUSD is Ripple's USD-denominated stablecoin, issued natively on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum and fully backed by a segregated reserve of cash and cash equivalents, redeemable 1:1 for US dollars. Since launching in 2024 it has surpassed $1.8 billion in market capitalization, making it one of the fastest-growing regulated USD stablecoins in crypto. It has since been deployed across Ethereum L2s including the XRPL EVM Sidechain, Optimism, Base, Ink, and Unichain.
Through the Squid integration in D'CENT, you can now:

Swap into RLUSD in one transaction — convert USDC, USDT, ETH, XRP, and thousands of other assets directly into RLUSD, with no manual bridging or wrapping.

Move RLUSD across chains — between XRPL, Ethereum, Base, Optimism, and beyond, instantly.

Onboard capital into the XRP ecosystem — bring value from any supported chain into XRP or RLUSD and hold it in self-custody.

"As demand for RLUSD grows, it needs to move freely across the ecosystems where activity is happening. Squid handles that routing layer, which opens up a lot for payments, DeFi, and treasury use cases." — Lauren Berta, Stablecoin Product Lead, Ripple

This integration goes live alongside the XRP Alliance with Squid, kicking off June 23, 2026 — a joint initiative connecting D'CENT users to deeper cross-chain access across the XRP ecosystem.

❓ FAQ

Q1: What can I actually swap?
Through Squid, D'CENT can route thousands of tokens across 100+ blockchains. The focus of this integration is bringing assets — like USDC, USDT, ETH, and XRP — into the XRP ecosystem, including direct swaps into RLUSD, all in a single transaction.
Q2: What makes RLUSD swaps special?
RLUSD is Ripple's regulated, USD-backed stablecoin issued natively on XRPL and Ethereum. Squid lets you swap into RLUSD and move it across every chain it's deployed on — XRPL, Ethereum, Base, Optimism, and beyond — without manual bridging or wrapping.
Q3: Where do my swapped assets go?
Straight into your D'CENT wallet address. There's no intermediate custodial balance — assets arrive in your self-custody wallet.
Q4: Do I need a D'CENT hardware wallet to swap?
No. The swap feature works with the D'CENT app alone. Pairing the app with a D'CENT Biometric Wallet adds on-device confirmation for every signature — recommended for larger amounts.
Q5: What fees apply?
Squid sources fast, capital-efficient routes at near-minimum fees, but cross-chain swaps still involve provider routing fees and on-chain network (gas) fees set by the underlying chains. The full quote — including the amount you'll receive — is shown before you confirm.
Q6: Is the swap feature live now?
Yes. Cross-chain swaps powered by Squid are available in D'CENT today. The XRP Alliance with Squid kicks off June 23, 2026.
