XRP ETF

Speculation surrounding a potential XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) involving BlackRock has resurfaced, with crypto commentator Jungle Inc drawing attention to what he believes is a more significant development taking place behind the scenes.
Jungle Inc referenced comments from market analyst Jake Claver, who suggested that BlackRock could eventually pursue an XRP ETF as institutional interest in the XRP Ledger (XRPL) continues to expand.
While ETF discussions often dominate headlines within the digital asset sector, Jungle Inc argued that the growing network of institutions and financial firms engaging with XRPL may be the more important story.
According to the commentator’s post on X, several major names have become increasingly associated with the XRP Ledger ecosystem. He pointed to companies including BlackRock, Mastercard, Franklin Templeton, DBS, Securitize, and Bitso as examples of organizations whose involvement has attracted attention from market participants monitoring XRPL’s development.

Infrastructure Expansion Continues Across the XRPL Ecosystem

Jungle Inc emphasized that XRP’s future is not solely dependent on the approval of an ETF product. Instead, he highlighted the ongoing expansion of infrastructure within the Ripple and XRPL ecosystem.
The commentator noted that Ripple has continued to introduce new capabilities and services to increase utility across the network. Among the developments mentioned were RLUSD, MXNB, AI-agent payment functionality, and regulated settlement tools designed to support institutional-grade financial activity.
His comments suggest that the foundation for broader adoption is being established before any potential ETF approval becomes a reality. Rather than viewing an ETF as the primary catalyst for growth, Jungle Inc presented it as a possible outcome that could follow increased institutional participation and ecosystem maturity.
The post framed current developments as evidence that XRPL is actively evolving through technology, payment solutions, and financial infrastructure rather than remaining dependent on speculative investment products.

Community Responds With Skepticism Over ETF Predictions

While some members of the XRP community welcomed the observations, others expressed caution regarding the ETF narrative and the forecasts associated with it.
One commenter, known as BrutallyHonest, pointed out that Jake Claver had previously predicted XRP could reach $100 by December 2025. The remark appeared to question the reliability of Claver’s projections and suggested that investors should evaluate his latest comments carefully.
Another user, KameradLes, took a more direct approach, criticizing what he viewed as excessive hype surrounding XRP. Although he reaffirmed his belief in the digital asset itself, he rejected what he described as exaggerated claims often promoted within the community.
Despite those reactions, Jungle Inc’s central argument remained focused on the broader growth of the XRP Ledger ecosystem. His commentary suggested that if institutional adoption of XRPL continues to expand, discussions about a future XRP ETF may eventually shift from speculation toward a more realistic possibility.
