Strategy has acquired 1,587 BTC in a purchase worth approximately $100 million, continuing the company's aggressive Bitcoin treasury accumulation strategy.
The transaction implies an average entry price of roughly $63,000 per BTC. Strategy disclosed the purchase through its regular public reporting channels, adding to a corporate Bitcoin reserve that has grown steadily over the past year.

The 1,587 BTC acquisition is the latest in a series of large-scale purchases by Strategy. In May 2025, the company bought 4,020 BTC to bring its holdings to 580,250 BTC. By June 2026, Strategy had increased its BTC reserve to 845,256 alongside a $1.0 billion USD reserve.
The pace of accumulation underscores the company's commitment to Bitcoin as its primary treasury asset. A nine-figure allocation at an implied price near $63,000 per coin suggests management viewed current price levels as an acceptable entry point for further deployment.
Strategy's approach to corporate Bitcoin holdings, documented in its SEC filings, has made it one of the most closely watched public companies in the digital asset space. Each purchase announcement tends to draw attention from both crypto-native investors and traditional equity markets, where Strategy's stock often moves in tandem with Bitcoin sentiment.

The purchase pattern indicates Strategy is unlikely to stop here. The company has consistently added Bitcoin across varying market conditions, and its growing USD reserve provides dry powder for future buys. Investors tracking corporate Bitcoin adoption may also want to monitor how leveraged crypto products and large whale positions respond to continued institutional accumulation.
Future SEC filings will reveal exact timing, funding sources, and any changes to Strategy's capital structure tied to the acquisition. The implied $63,000 average price also sets a reference point; subsequent buys above or below that level will signal how aggressively the company is willing to accumulate at higher valuations.
Regulatory developments remain relevant as well. Governments worldwide are tightening oversight of crypto holdings, which could affect how corporate treasuries manage Bitcoin exposure going forward.
