@Trylimitless, the largest prediction market platform on Base, has integrated @Chainlink Data Streams to automate the resolution of its high-volume crypto markets. The move brings sub-second price data to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and $SOL outcome markets, enabling instant settlement and payouts for participants.

Why the Integration Matters

Prediction markets depend entirely on the accuracy and speed of the data used to settle outcomes. Chainlink Data Streams uses a pull-based design that delivers cryptographically verified price reports with sub-second latency, retrieving data only when needed rather than pushing it on a fixed schedule. That architecture is well suited to fast-moving markets where stale data can delay payouts or introduce errors.
The resolution process works by having smart contracts consume a verified price report on demand. Once the data is delivered onchain, the contract evaluates the outcome and distributes payouts automatically, removing any need for manual intervention. As Chainlink's own documentation notes, the infrastructure allows for "near-instantaneous resolution of asset pricing markets" once a predetermined time or condition is met.

Limitless is a decentralized prediction market built on Coinbase's Base network. It is the largest prediction market platform on the Base ecosystem, sitting just behind Kalshi and Polymarket in the broader sector. The platform offers short-term fast price markets that settle instantly with no liquidation risk or hidden fees. Total trading volume has exceeded $500 million since launch.
Limitless uses a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) model, allowing market orders for instant execution and limit orders for target pricing. Its native token, $LMTS, is used for staking rewards, governance voting, and fee discounts.
The Chainlink integration positions Limitless to handle growing volumes with greater reliability. Chainlink Data Streams supports sub-second data resolution for latency-sensitive use cases by retrieving data only when needed. A commit-and-reveal approach also mitigates frontrunning by making trade data and stream data visible atomically onchain.
The adoption follows a broader trend of prediction market platforms turning to Chainlink for settlement infrastructure. Polymarket, one of the sector's best-known names, has also integrated Chainlink Data Streams and Automation to power automated onchain settlement for its crypto asset pricing markets.
