Hyperliquid

Prediction markets have just reached a historic milestone with Hyperliquid removing external oracles and granting this power to its validators. An innovation that could disrupt DeFi… and propel an unknown crypto to the top. We analyze.

Hyperliquid: validators become oracles, a first in DeFi

Hyperliquid has just launched a new feature: prediction markets governed by its validators, removing the need for external oracles like Chainlink or Pyth. Concretely, the 24 validators who already secure +$3B in deposits now vote to create and settle markets tied to real events (e.g., inflation, CPI). The first market “May CPI year-over-year” has already generated $11,268 in volume.

This 100% native approach is radically different from competitors. Indeed, Polymarket uses the Optimistic Oracle (UMA), while Kalshi relies on a centralized team. Here, no third parties, no latency. Everything is managed internally by the validators through automated newsfeed software.

Result: more transparency, lower costs, and smooth integration into the Hyperliquid ecosystem, already a leader in perpetual futures. With the HIP-4 update, the platform expands its influence… and could redefine standards for prediction markets on the blockchain.

This little-known crypto could leap thanks to Hyperliquid

While Hyperliquid clearly benefits from this innovation, another crypto could gain an unexpected advantage: HYPE, its native token. Despite a 3.5% drop over 24h, HYPE shows a 26.8% rise over 7 days, indicating growing interest. Why? Because this HIP-4 update draws attention to the Hyperliquid ecosystem, boosting demand for its token.

To this end, analysts highlight that prediction markets could boost the utility of HYPE, used for governance and transaction fees. If adoption of prediction markets explodes, HYPE could experience an unexpected rally! With daily volume ranging between 4 million and 8 million dollars, Hyperliquid proves its resilience. Moreover, absence of dependence on external oracles reduces operational costs. An asset for crypto investors.

Hyperliquid marks a major advance for DeFi, while HYPE positions itself as an underdog to watch. But will this innovation be enough to convince traders? And you, would you dare to bet on HYPE or prefer to wait?
