The cryptocurrency weekend trading volume brought focus to some altcoins that have experienced better technical formations and increased market participation. Bitcoin was consolidating in a range, but other digital currencies had moderate increases in volume and price stability. According to market analysts, traders seemed to be shifting their money into projects related to decentralized finance, blockchain infrastructure, and scaling networks which is Celo, Raydium, Ethena, VeChain, and Optimism.

Both of these projects became interesting when their charts started to make higher moving bottoms and develop better support zones on recent sessions. Volatility was seen throughout the market, but short-term traders were still watching altcoins that had these growing liquidity and accumulation patterns. However, the overall crypto market remained uncertain due to macroeconomic factors and investor sentiment. Selected digital assets, however, continued to bounce back with rising trading volumes during the week.

Celo has been closely monitored since the recent ecosystem advances and growth of DeFi. The traders noted the token has better bottom support than previous monthly pullbacks. Analysts also pointed out that blockchain-based projects geared toward mobile accessibility remained of interest for long-term investments in emerging markets.

As the liquidity returned to a number of decentralized finance platforms on Solana, Raydium saw trading activity returning. Part of the momentum was attributed to sentiment around decentralized exchanges and automated market makers, which improved. There was also the view among the technical traders that the shorter-term momentum indicators were improving.

Ethena and VeChain Continue Building Market Activity

Ethena continued to be a significant part of conversations related to the growth of DeFi and the development of stablecoin infrastructure. The project was still attracting the interest of traders seeking exposure to new DeFi areas, according to analysts. Price action consolidation also seemed to have been trending towards stability in recent sessions.

Meanwhile, VeChain switched gears to concentrate as blockchain adoption spread to the logistics and supply-chain industry. Market watchers commented that VeChain has remained active in the community, despite the overall market downturn early this year. Analysts also spotted, after weeks of stagnant price action, a strengthening of chart formations.

Optimism Gains Momentum as Layer-2 Competition Expands

At the market's core, optimism continued to draw attention with its scaling solutions being a key focus in the digital asset sector. Analysts noted that transaction fees on layer-2 have been reduced, leading to increased interest in the infrastructure, as well as the growth of decentralized application usage. Another significant factor to consider was ongoing discussions about Ethereum network expansion strategies, which boosted the optimism around the platform. Ongoing discussions regarding expansion strategies on the Ethereum network also contributed to the overall sense of optimism.

The market was cautiously upbeat with traders, but there was definite interest in the altcoins, indicating some technical recovery from the market. Investors are looking for projects that are showing signs of continued development activity and greater network involvement, not for fleeting speculative rallies, analysts said.
