Cryptocurrencies are an extremely convenient form of payment for many people, but lots of us are unfamiliar with them, and this can cause them anxiety when transferring funds.

Picture this: you’re trying to deposit crypto to a website, you checked the details carefully before confirming the transaction, and your wallet now shows “sent,” but the balance on the other side still has not updated. The fastest way to regain confidence in a situation like that is to seek out evidence you can verify, copy, and share. This guide will show you how to pull up the on-chain record, confirm what it actually says, and package the exact details into a message a support team can use if necessary.

Proof starts with a transaction hash

A transaction hash, often shown as TXID, is the unique identifier for a specific transfer on a blockchain. Think of it as a reference code that pulls up a public record: status, confirmations, sender and recipient addresses, and the asset transfer details. If you can open that record on the correct explorer, you can prove the payment was sent, and you can also check whether it is still pending, confirmed, or failed.

When a transfer is connected to a platform workflow, proof becomes practical, not theoretical. A casino website like Ozoon Canada demonstrates the importance of this. The platform is preparing to launch and already emphasizes security and privacy as core principles of its gaming experience, showing that trust and transparency should be considered from the very first step and built into the entire interface. That’s particularly true when handling crypto, because it can sometimes confuse users.

In the footer, Ozoon Canada provides a contact link, reassuring players that they can get in touch if they run into any issues with payments, withdrawals, etc. This kind of accessible and easy-to-find support is a key element of the payment flow, and helps to eradicate any hiccups that might occur, guiding users from start to finish. If you do need to contact the support team on a site like this, it also helps to know what kind of information they will require from you in order to check the status of your payment; TXID is a good start here, but you should also include details like the date and approximate time of the transaction.

Before you send any money, take a few seconds to capture the network you selected, then copy the full TXID when your wallet shows it, and save the recipient address you pasted. If you are sending a token such as USDT, plan to confirm the token transfer line on the explorer, not just a wallet label. Add the explorer status, confirmation count, and timestamp.

If you later need to ask for a trace, keep your wording aligned with how the platform talks about payments and withdrawals, then paste those identifiers in that same priority order. That approach stays useful whether the transfer is pending or already confirmed, and it keeps the conversation efficient for Ozoon support so they can help you quickly.

Pay attention to the core idea: the hash lets you locate the transaction on the blockchain and verify it independently of any wallet screen.

Read the explorer record like a support agent would

A wallet screen is a status update. A block explorer is a tool that lets you view records on the blockchain directly. Support teams may choose to look at a block explorer because it is the only place where the network, addresses, and token movements are written in a way anyone can verify. When you read an explorer the same way they do, you stop guessing and start answering the exact questions that decide whether a transfer can be traced.

Explorers show details that a support team can use to help identify or understand a transaction: address, hash, and token contract. These fields will remain consistent across apps and devices, making them a strong foundation for understanding transactions.

So, how do you use a block explorer? Well, the first step involves choosing the correct explorer for the network you used. This is where most “missing” transactions come from. A TXID searched on the wrong chain looks like it never happened. If you are not sure which network you selected, open the transaction details in your wallet and use its “view on explorer” option. That link usually reveals the chain immediately.

Once the explorer loads, scan the information in this order.

Status and confirmations. “Pending” means the transaction has been broadcast but not included in a block yet. “Confirmed” means it is in a block and is accumulating confirmations. “Failed” means it was attempted but did not execute as intended. Confirmations matter because many platforms credit only after a certain number of confirmations have been reached.

To and From addresses. Compare the first and last few characters to make sure there are no typos in the address. Even if you copy and pasted it, it’s important to check this. If the “To” address is not the intended deposit address, it is not a platform delay. It is a destination mismatch.

Asset transfer details. For a native coin, the main summary line often reveals the most information. For tokens, you must find the token transfer section and confirm the token name, contract, and amount there. This catches cases where a wallet label looked right, but the chain shows a different contract.

Timestamp and block. These help explain timing. Some services process credits in intervals and need the block and time to reconcile accurately.

Your goal is not to learn every explorer feature. Your goal is to capture the most important fields, as these are the ones a support team might want you to provide.

The minimum proof pack that prevents back and forth

Keep the information about your transaction in a note so you can paste it without switching apps. You should include:

Network used

TXID

Recipient address

Asset and amount as shown on the chain

Explorer status and confirmations

Explorer timestamp

Screenshots are optional. If you include one, make it show the network you selected in the wallet, because that is the detail people misremember most often.

A support message that gets action on the first reply

If you do have to contact a support team, use clear and unambiguous sentences, then paste the proof pack on separate lines. Sentence 1 states what you attempted, naming the asset and network. Sentence 2 states what the explorer shows now, and what has not updated yet.

It’s important to note that if a transaction’s status is “pending,” you should not send the funds again, because two similar transfers create confusion. If the status is confirmed, you have already proven the payment was sent. The only useful follow-up is operational: the platform’s confirmation threshold and whether internal processing is still in progress. If you don’t see the transaction complete immediately, be patient, and then check in with support later.

That has hopefully offered insight into how crypto wallets work, and what information you need to capture if you require help from a support team, or if you want to verify a transaction yourself in a block explorer.
