Fresh on-chain development data from Santiment highlights which projects are driving real builder activity across Binance Smart Chain and Binance Chain.

The rankings track notable GitHub events over the past 30 days, offering a clearer signal of sustained engineering work rather than short-term price action.

The Projects Setting the Pace

At the top of the list sits Bitcoin BEP2 (BTBC), which posted the highest development score in the period. Its lead suggests ongoing maintenance and infrastructure-focused updates tied to Bitcoin’s representation within the Binance ecosystem.

Close behind is Flux (FLUX), continuing to show consistent progress. Flux’s steady climb reflects active work across its decentralized compute stack, keeping it among the most developer-heavy projects on BSC and Binance Chain this month.

BNB ranks next, underscoring that core chain development remains a priority. Sustained commits around BNB typically point to upgrades, tooling, and ecosystem support rather than speculative features.

Wallets, DeFi, and Privacy Also Active

Beyond the top three, Trust Wallet Token (TWT) and Beefy Finance (BIFI) show notable upward momentum in development rankings, signaling continued iteration on user-facing infrastructure and DeFi tooling.

Zcash (ZEC) also remains in the top tier, reflecting ongoing work tied to privacy tech integrations within the Binance ecosystem.

Rounding out the list are Automata Network (ATA), 0x (ZRX), ApeSwap (BANANA), and Saito (SAITO), each contributing steady but smaller volumes of GitHub activity.

Why This Data Matters

Santiment’s development rankings are designed to filter out hype. High scores indicate frequent, meaningful code changes, which often precede long-term ecosystem growth even when prices lag. Directional arrows in the dataset also show which projects are gaining or losing relative momentum versus last month, helping distinguish sustained builders from fading narratives.

In short, while markets fluctuate, developer activity across BSC and Binance Chain remains concentrated around infrastructure, wallets, and core protocols, an important signal for anyone tracking where real progress is happening beneath the surface.
