<h2 id="span-span-strong-what-did-bitget-announce-strong-span-span">What Did Bitget Announce?</h2>
Bitget&nbsp;<a style="text-decoration:none" href="https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2026/01/09/3215884/0/en/Bitget-Deepens-Collaboration-with-Ondo-with-98-New-US-Stocks-and-ETFs.html" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">confirmed</a> the addition of 98 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs as part of its Universal Exchange, or UEX, model. The assets are issued through Ondo Finance and operate on BNB Chain, allowing users to trade exposure to traditional markets using crypto-native infrastructure.
These products are not shares held through a brokerage. They are tokenized representations that track the price performance of underlying assets and are settled using USDT.
The new listings span several market categories:
<ul>
 <li>Short-duration U.S. Treasury ETFs such as SGOV</li>
 <li>Large U.S. equities across technology, energy, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing</li>
 <li>International growth stocks including BILI, PDD, and GRAB</li>
 <li>Commodity-linked ETFs such as GLD, USO, COPX, and REMX</li>
 <li>Broad market index trackers like VTI</li>
 <li>Leveraged and inverse ETFs such as TQQQ and SQQQ</li>
</ul>
Together, the lineup gives traders access to equities, fixed income, commodities, and tactical trading instruments without leaving a crypto platform.
<h2 id="span-span-strong-how-do-tokenized-stocks-work-on-bitget-strong-span-span">How Do Tokenized Stocks Work On Bitget?</h2>
Tokenized stocks are blockchain-based assets that mirror the price of traditional securities. On Bitget, these instruments are traded using familiar crypto workflows while tracking real-world market prices.
Tokenized stocks do not provide shareholder rights such as voting or dividends. Instead, they offer price exposure.
Key characteristics include:
<ul>
 <li>USDT-settled trading pairs</li>
 <li>Onchain issuance via Ondo Finance</li>
 <li>Price tracking tied to underlying U.S. stocks or ETFs</li>
 <li>Availability alongside crypto, derivatives, and forex products</li>
</ul>
By using BNB Chain, Bitget ensures fast settlement and lower transaction costs compared with legacy brokerage systems.
<h2 id="span-span-strong-why-is-bitget-expanding-tokenized-tradfi-assets-strong-span-span">Why Is Bitget Expanding Tokenized TradFi Assets?</h2>
The expansion reflects rising demand for platforms that combine crypto and traditional finance in one environment. Market volatility in recent months has pushed many crypto-native traders toward assets like gold, indices, and bonds as short-term hedges.
Bitget’s data supports this trend. The exchange recently&nbsp;<a style="text-decoration:none" href="https://www.bitget.com/blog/articles/bitget-tradfi-2b-daily-trading-volume" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">reported</a> more than $2 billion in daily trading volume on Bitget TradFi, following its public rollout in January.
Within a 72-hour period, the most traded TradFi pairs included:
<ul>
 <li>Gold (XAUUSD)</li>
 <li>Dow Jones Industrial Average (US30)</li>
 <li>Nasdaq 100 (NAS100)</li>
 <li>Silver (XAGUSD)</li>
 <li>Euro FX (EURUSD)</li>
</ul>
Gold emerged as the most actively traded asset, showing its role as both a liquidity anchor and a tactical trading instrument during risk-off conditions.
<h2 id="span-span-strong-how-does-ondo-finance-fit-into-this-model-strong-span-span">How Does Ondo Finance Fit Into This Model?</h2>
Ondo Finance specializes in bringing real-world assets onchain, including tokenized funds and yield-bearing instruments. In this setup, Ondo acts as the infrastructure layer that enables compliant tokenization of traditional assets.
Bitget handles trading and user access, while Ondo provides the underlying asset framework.
This division allows Bitget to expand its asset coverage without building tokenization systems from scratch, while maintaining compatibility with existing blockchain rails.
<h2 id="span-span-strong-what-assets-are-users-getting-access-to-strong-span-span">What Assets Are Users Getting Access To?</h2>
The newly listed products cover a wide range of market use cases.
For defensive positioning, users can access Treasury-focused ETFs like SGOV and gold-backed instruments such as GLD.
For growth exposure, the listings include major U.S. technology and consumer companies, as well as international firms tied to emerging market demand.
For tactical trading, leveraged and inverse ETFs like TQQQ and SQQQ allow users to express short-term views on market direction.
<h2 id="span-span-strong-how-does-this-fit-into-bitget-s-uex-strategy-strong-span-span">How Does This Fit Into Bitget’s UEX Strategy?</h2>
Bitget describes itself as a Universal Exchange, meaning users can move between asset classes without switching platforms. The exchange already supports more than 200 tokenized stocks and offers access to over 2 million onchain tokens across&nbsp;<a style="text-decoration:none" href="https://bsc.news/post/what-is-ethereum-eth-how-it-works-explained" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum</a>, Base, BNB Chain,&nbsp;<a style="text-decoration:none" href="https://bsc.news/post/solana-blockchain-ecosystem-deep-dive" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Solana</a>, and other networks.
By placing tokenized stocks alongside crypto spot markets, derivatives, and TradFi instruments, Bitget reduces friction for traders who want to respond quickly to global market events.
Ryan Lee, Chief Analyst at Bitget Research, noted that recent headlines triggered a shift toward gold and silver, while onchain indicators such as stablecoin liquidity and ETF flows suggest accumulation rather than broad risk exit.
<h2 id="span-span-strong-conclusion-strong-span-span">Conclusion</h2>
Bitget’s listing of 98 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs via Ondo Finance on BNB Chain expands access to equities, bonds, commodities, and index products within a single crypto-native platform.&nbsp;
The move builds on rising TradFi trading volumes and supports Bitget’s Universal Exchange model, where digital assets and traditional instruments operate side by side using shared infrastructure.
