The emerging trend sees a surge in Bitcoin $100K call options as traders anticipate significant market changes. The $100,000 benchmark represents a crucial point where many mid-term holders break even, reflecting market sentiment shifts and expectations.
Data from Deribit, a cryptocurrency exchange, highlights elevated open interest, particularly for $100K call options expiring January 30. Jasper De Maere, Desk Strategist at Wintermute, noted, "Flow remains dominated by rolls, with a notable uptick in interest around the 30 Jan 100k calls."
